Eliza follows Karma down the hall with a pit in her stomach. Karma glance back and Eliza's uncertainty bring Karma pure joy. "Relax kid, I just wanted to have some girl talk." A smirk finds its way back onto her face.
"Why is that not comforting." She hears Eliza mutter.
Karma slows to Eliza's pace and throws her left arm over her shoulder. Eliza tenses her shoulders. Good. Let her be scared.
"I just wanted to make sure you are okay. I heard you had a rough night?"
Eliza stops so Karma does to and turns to face her.
"What?" Eliza looks afraid, very much afraid. She has never looked this vulnerable to Karma. She hit a nerve.
"Yeah, I've never heard anyone talk-scream like that in their sleep. Oh, between sobs. Something about someone named Sebastian." She slows on the last word. Karma has found her blackmail. How it will come in handy, she's not sure yet.
Karma starts to walk again. She's proud of herself. "Aren't you coming Eliza? It is, after all time for lunch." Eliza trails loosely behind her, but Karma doesn't care. She has nothing more to say to Eliza, so she walks in silence.
