You Underestimate Me

George and I were just leaving potions. We were expecting to meet up with Silver and the others but we couldn't find any of them so we just assumed that they'd gone to transfiguration already.

The only person we had seen was Ginny on her way to Potions but she hadn't seen them walk out with the rest of their class.

We sat down in Defense against the dark arts barely listening to what the teacher was saying when I heard an owl coming into the classroom with two identical letters clutched in its beak.

I expected them both to be for the teacher so I went back to my work when Moody yelled something.

"Weasleys!" He suddenly shouted making us wonder what Snape had already claimed we'd done.

He beckoned us over and handed us one of the two notes.

Fred and George,

Silver is currently in the hospital wing after an incident in DADA so Harry, Hermoine and I have been given permission to stay with her until she wakes.
She started screaming in her sleep a minute ago and we need you to come to the wing.

Please bring Lee with you.

"You may go" He said calmly then remembered something "Jordan! Go with them!" He shouted as Lee nodded and rushed after us.

"What do you think could've happened to her?" I asked into the rasped silence.

"Happened to who? What is happening here?" Lee who hadn't read the letter began asking.

"Here" George said as he passed the letter over to Lee once it was out of his pocket.

He read it over a few times before staring at it and sighing.

"Oh" was all he could get out. It was understandable though, Silver was usually the one getting owls to come and see us at the infirmary because of pranks going wrong here and there.

When we reached the large polished doors of the hospital wing, I hesitated before knocking thinking about all the possible horrible things that could happen in DADA and before I changed my mind, I lifted my arm and knocked twice.

I hadn't seen Ron, Hermoine, Harry or Silver coming out of DADA with the rest of their class when I walked past on my way to Potions so I just guessed that while working with Hermoine they had all finished early and been able to get to their next class early or go to the library to study for something.

Because I had potions with the Ravenclaw house today I decided to sit with Luna because I don't spend much time with her during classes.

We talked as we made our potion unlike most people who sat there in silence and often caused mini explosions by putting too much of something into their cauldrons.

Because for some reason Snape was in a foul mood, the potion that we were making was Living Death. It is an extremely complicated potion, especially for third years and he gave us no guidance.

Luna and I were about 1/3 of the way through our potion when one of the school owls came soaring into the class dropping two letters in front of the professor.

He read them with and emotionless expression on his face then stood up swiftly, walking to his desk.

"Weasley!" He stated loudly as I dropped my head and shuffled over to his desk.
