~ Silver ~
I was awoken the next morning by a girl with long red hair standing over me right in my face nearly causing me to scream.
"Merlins beard Ginny! You scared me" I exclaimed as my heart rate dropped back to normal.
"Sorry about that" she said sheepishly "but we're about to miss breakfast!"
"Damn!" I said as I flew out of bed straight to my trunk where I proceeded to put on my uniform faster than I ever needed to before.
"That was fast" Ginny stated as I walked down into the common room only about a minute after she left.
"I don't want to spend half the day sulking because I didn't get anything to eat. Shall we get going?" I said in a posh accent as we linked arms.
"We shall" she mimicked in the same tone.
The two of us laughed the whole way to the great Hall and noticed that most of the school was already having their breakfast.
We raced over to a free spot at the table and filled our plates with as much as we could.
"I see you two know how to eat" a familiar voice beamed from behind us.
I turned around to see Fred and George smirking at us.
"Hey! Living with Ron you either eat fast or don't eat. You know that" Ginny said as she poked Georges arm.
"Too right I do" He muttered under his breathe making us laugh.
"And here I like actually being able to eat. Let alone walk around not worrying if there is someone waiting for me around the next corner to torture me" I said quietly as I turned around.
"Silver..." Ginny started but I stopped her.
"I'm fine okay? I think I'll just go for a walk..." I said as I picked up my bag and headed out of the great Hall and towards the grounds.
I didn't stop walking until I was at the edge of the black lake, where I slumped down against a tree and buried my head in my hands.
For a minute everything was silent until I heard the snap of a branch behind me.
I stood with my wand raised until Fred took a step out from behind a nearby tree.
"Silver calm down. It's only me" he said as he took a step closer.
I pocketed my wand and turned away from him back to the lake, slumping back against the same tree out of sight.
"Hey what's wrong?" He asked as he moved forward and sat down next to me.
"Nothing I'm fine" I tried to say with confidence until my voice caught in my throat.
"Yeah and I don't have red hair" He said sarcasticly making me smile. "There's that beautiful smile I love so much" he said softly as he tucked a loose piece of hair behind my ear.
All I could think was what is happening, Why am I having all of these mixed emotions right now? Why?
"I'm sorry about what happened at breakfast" Fred said as he pulled me closer to him.
"It's not your fault Fred."
"But I still should've known not to say anything. It was a stupid comment and-"
"Fred" I said quietly. He looked down at me expectantly.
"Yeah"
"None of that matters now. I'm moving in with you guys and I won't have to worry about what happened in the Malfoy Manor"
"I know that but you'll never be able to shake those memories and I keep managing to bring it up"
"I'm a big girl Fred. I can handle talking about it... you just... caught me a little bit by suprise that's all..."
"Well I'm not going to do it again." He stated proudly.
"And i'm not a Malfoy" I said sarcastically like his 'red hair' comment.
"I'm trying miss Malfoy." He said seriously.
"I'm know Freddie." I smiled up at him. "Come on, Snape will go mental if you're late for potions." I added with a laugh making him chuckle.
"Let's go then" he exclaimed, pulling me up from the ground so we could walk back up to the castle.
We were relatively quiet on the walk back but Fred kept trying to lighten the mood by cracking horrible jokes or bagging on about how ridiculous Snapes haircut is which made me laugh so hard I didn't even remember that I was a Malfoy, let alone remember that everything going on at the moment wasn't exactly good, especially Harry being put into the triwizard tournament.
My day went alot faster than I had expected it to.
I had double divination which I was expecting to be really bad, but instead of telling me I'd 'suffer great tragedy' like usual Trelawney had told me that things were going pick up for me now, which gave me a bit more confidence than her lessons usually do.
I was on my way to Dumbledores office with Ginny and Harry when Harry decided to ask me about divination.
"It seems weird how your fortune has suddenly gotten so much better doesn't it?" He asked.
"What's this about?" Ginny asked curiously.
"It's divination, Trelawney has stopped telling me that I'm in danger or that I'll suffer, and said that things will get better." I explained.
"Maybe that's got something to do with you moving in with us" she added.
"That's a good guess Gin, but I have no idea" I trailed off as we made it to Dumbledores office.
"Umm... I don't know the password. Harry do you remember it?" I asked him as he stepped forward.
"I'm not sure, umm... sherbert lemon" He said before stepping back.
Suddenly the gargoyle statue in front of us started to move upwards, revealing a staircase up to where the headmasters office was.
"I've never been here before" Ginny squealed as we hopped onto the stairs.
When we reached the large doors to the office we could hear muffled voices from inside that we guessed were Mrs Weasley and Dumbledore. We knocked twice on the door and it suddenly swung open to reveal; Mrs Weasley, Dumbledore, the twins, Mr Weasley and Ron.
