~ Silver ~
"You're a bit late for your own meeting" George chuckled.
"Sorry. We didn't know what the password was" I said with a blush.
"Silver" I was suddenly engulfed in a hug from Mrs Weasley that was bone breaking at the least.
"Mum let her go or the only thing she'll be signing will be a restraining order" Fred said as he started laughing hysterically causing the rest of us to laugh.
"I'm sorry dear" she exclaimed as she let me go.
"Don't worry about it Mrs Weasley."
"How many times have I told you to call me Molly?"
"Sorry Molly" I exclaimed sheepishly.
"I'm sorry to interrupt but would you mind if we start?" Dumbledore asked from his large desk.
"Of course not proffessor" We all stated.
"Okay where should we start?" He asked patiently.
"Well Silver here would like to move out of her families house but she doesn't want them to know where she has moved to." Mr Weasley said calmly.
"Okay so miss Malfoy would be requiring special wards to keep out all death eaters or unwelcome people there for her?"
"That is correct sir" I mumbled.
"So Dumbledore, if she moves in with us, does that mean that her family have no rights to her care?" Fred spoke up.
"If that is what Silver wishes, then yes"
"Wicked" George, Fred and Ron all exclaimed.
Dumbledore suddenly turned his eyes to me and peered at me through his half-moon spectacles. "Are you sure that this is what you truly want miss Malfoy. You do have the option to remain with the Malfoy family."
"I think I am sure, I will never truly get rid of my family but they will always be my family. And even though I can take care of myself, I feel like it is my turn to be the one growing up in a household that appreciates your personality, not only your achievements."
Tears started to well up in my eyes as I spoke and I suddenly felt a rising warmth in my left hand.
I looked to the left of me to see that Fred had taken my hand in his and was grazing my palm with his thumb, looking down at my comfortingly.
Mrs Weasley noticed this and smiled to herself.
"Well miss Malfoy, if you are sure that this is what you want then you may sign here" Dumbledore said as he slid a piece of parchment in front of me.
"Silver?" Fred said as he squeezed my hand.
"Yeah"
"Are you ready for this?"
"...Definitely" I responded with a smile.
I reached down to the parchment with a quill in hand and signed my name as neatly as I could.
• Silver Scorpius Malfoy
Below my name, Mr and Mrs Weasley signed their own names.
• Molly Weasley
• Arthur Weasley"Now miss Malfoy if you wish, you may leave with Mr, Mr and Mr Weasley, Miss Weasley and Mr Potter while we continue to discuss the terms of this agreement."
"Thankyou proffessor" I exclaimed kindly as all of us walked towards the grand staircase.
We all walked quietly until Fred broke the silence.
"So I guess this is it. You have nothing to worry about anymore" He said as he moved next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
"Yeah. I didn't actually think it would happen because of everything going on at the moment" I chuckled.
"When mum sets her mind to something she doesn't let it go" George added.
"I'm happy for you silv" Harry said quietly from next to Ginny.
"Thanks Harry" I responded.
"Look who actually decided to speak" Ron spat bitterly at Harry.
"Ron!" Ginny hissed.
"Why was he even here anyway. He's not part of the family." He spat back.
"Ronald! Enough!" I yelled.
"Why is everyone defending him?! Fred, George you were calling him a cheat too a few days ago"
We had all stopped walking when Ron called out the twins and we were right outside the fat lady portrait.
"You're the one that abandoned me when I needed you most. You were my best friend and you were the one person I needed to support me because nobody else did" Harry said angrily as he stormed up to the portrait, disappearing through with Ginny behind him.
George grabbed Ron by the scruff of his collar and dragged him through the portrait hole to the common room leaving Fred and I alone.
"I hate to say it but I think I'm going to win our bet" He said sadly.
"It's not that I wanted to win. It's that I wanted those two to make up" I added.
"They will Silver"
"What if they don't? What happens then?" I said as tears filled my eyes.
Fred pulled me into a hug and I hooked my arms around his neck.
"Never give up on Harry." Was all he said before he carried me up the stairs to the common room where Harry and Ginny sat.
I let go of Fred and walked up to Harry who had his fists clenched and was being told by Ginny to even his breathing.
"Harry..." I wanted to say something but I was cut off by him hugging me.
"I'm sorry you got involved with this" He whispered.
"Don't be. Listen you should get some rest so that we can get you ready for the first challenge okay. It's coming up fast." I said as I let go and walked up to the girls dormitory, gesturing for Ginny to follow.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"No" she admitted.
"Tell me" I said as we walked into her room.
"I'm afraid that if I don't patch things up with Ron he won't speak to me anymore but I don't want to jeopardize anything with Harry because he really does need everyone he has"
"I'm know how you feel. But we can't keep tiptoeing around them all the time." I exclaimed.
"You saw what happens when we get them together. They rip eachothers heads off."
"We'll sort it in the morning, okay?"
"Okay" she said more calmly.
"I'll see you in the morning Ginny"
"See you in the morning Silv"
