~ Silver ~

I was sitting underneath a tree with Harry while Neville was admiring the water plants in the shallows of the Black Lake a few meters away.

I was discussing possible ideas for what the first challenge could be with Harry when Neville looked up from the plants and waved behind us.

Harry and I both turned around to see Ginny and Hermoine on either side of Ron pushing him forward until they were within ten meters of us.

Ron and Hermoine started whispering between eachother before she walked up to Harry slightly flustered.

"Ron was told by Pavarti that Dean told Seamus that Hagrid is looking for you." She stopped, and caught her breathe as Harry tried to process the information.

"What?" Was all he could come up with.

"Umm..." she walked back to Ron to hear it again but just gave up.

"Ron was told by Pavarti that... ugh. Don't make me say it again" she pleaded "Hagrid is looking for you"

"Well you can tell Ronald that..." He started but was cut off.

"I'm not an owl!" She yelled.

She stormed off, grabbing Ginny by the arm and was followed by Ron chasing after them.

"Wow... that was... interesting" I breathed.

"Yeah" Harry made out.

"Umm guys. Is it just me or does Hermoine scare you too when she's angry" Neville stuttered.

Harry and I just laughed.

"Sometimes Neville" We exclaimed in unison causing him to smile too.

Later in the day I walked with Harry to Hagrids cottage on the grounds holding his invisibility cloak under my robes as Hagrid had instructed.

"Oh 'arry your 'ere. Don' worry 'bout why you're 'ere, it's important."

He started to walk to the edge of the forbidden forest and beckoned Harry to follow him.

"Hagrid what are we doing here?" Harry asked politely.

"I 'ave something to show ya" He said without stopping "you can come too Silver"

Without arguing with him we slipped under the cloak together and followed him into the forest.

We walked for a few minutes until we heard a voice in the distance.

"Hagrid" Madame Maxine exclaimed in her thick French accent.

"I was afraid that you weren't coming. That you had forgotten me" she said sadly.

"Oh I don' think I could forget you" He said sincerely.

Harry and I gagged from underneath the cloak. Why did Hagrid want us here to watch him flirt with Madame Maxine?

"What was it you wanted to show me?" She asked him

"You'll be glad you came. Look at this" He said as he pulled back a nearby branch revealing fire-breathing dragons locked in cages.

Madame Maxine moved closer to examine them and as soon as she left, Harry and I jumped out from under the cloak.

"Dragons! You've got to be kidding me!" Harry exclaimed.

"That's the first task!" I yelled.

"Dragons are seriously misunderstood creatures ye know. Poor Ron nearly fainted just seeing them"

"Ron was here?!" We both yelled.

"Yeah his brother Charlie shipped 'em over from Romania. Didn't he tell you?"

"No. He didn't mention a thing" Harry said angrily.

"Oh" Hagrid said awkwardly.

Harry and I made our way back to the castle under the cloak and made sure to stay under until we made it to the common room incase Filch came looking.

It was 11 o clock so we guessed nobody would be in the common room and took the cloak off.

"Ugh it was so hot under there" I exclaimed.

"Where we're you two?" Fred asked from the other side of the common room.

"Freddie. What are you doing up?" I asked happily.

"Seriously, where were you two. Why aren't you telling me?" He asked jealously.

"What's wrong Fred? We were out for a walk" I didn't think Harry wanted people knowing about the challenge or it might spoil it.

"I'm gonna go to bed Silver" Harry said with a yawn.

"Okay night Harry"

I gave him a hug goodnight before turning back to Fred.

"Is there something wrong Fred? You can tell me anything, you know that"

He hesitated for a second, nervously.

"You know what. It's nothing. Im gonna go to bed. It's late and i'm tired." He said as he pretended to yawn and tried to get to the stairs.

"Frederick Gideon Weasley tell me what's going on right now or I'm going to tell George and I know that he'll tell me!" I yelled.

"Okay okay" He said in surrender. "Can you sit down?" He said as he gestured to the old red couch behind us.

I agreed and sat down patiently while he started pacing.

"Okay so what would you say if I told you that it made me upset that you and I haven't hung out in ages."

"Really?" I asked in shock.

"Yeah. You're my best friend Silver and since Harry and Ron stopped talking you've been spending all your time that used to be ours with him."

"I'm sorry Freddie. How about next weekend I spend all with you?"

"You're the best miss Malfoy!" He yelled as he tackled me onto the rug.

He looked down on me and his chocolate brown eyes locked onto my ocean blue ones.

When I realised how close his face was I started blushing a mad shade of red and tried to turn my face away from him.

"I have to go to bed now Fred, I'll see you in the morning"

He rolled off me and balanced on his elbow on his side.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow then beautiful miss Malfoy." He said flirtatiously.

I pulled him up and gave him a hug goodnight before turning around and running up the stairs of the girls dormitory.

I bounded into Ginny's room as fast as I could and woke her up by shaking her shoulders vigorously.

She woke up and went to scream but I covered her mouth before any sound came out.

"Don't worry it's just me Gin." I whispered.

"Oh yeah nothing to worry about!" She whisper yelled.

"I'm sorry but I have a problem"

"Fine let's go somewhere more private" she said as she pulled me to the bathroom.

We put a silencing charm on the door so that nobody could hear us then I plopped myself on the floor.

"Now first off. WHAT THE HELL IS THE TIME?! And second what's the problem?"

"It's around 12 o clock and.. and..."

"Spit it out or I will beat you with a pillow." She said irritably.

"I... I... I like Fred, Ginny. I think I have for a while now and I am really falling  for him."
