renjun and jeno were left outside jaemin's room, crying and worried. renjun kept on walking back and forth, biting his fingernails and cursing repeatedly.
jeno put his head on both of his hands, his hair is messed up. both of them are messed up. they weren't in their right mind as of the moment.
long after, the doctor came out from jaemin's room, he looked sorry for the both of them.
jeno stood up, since renjun is already standing he just had to look at the doctor.
"what happened? is he alright? he is right?" renjun bombarded the doctor with questions.
"injun, let the doctor talk."
"just like what you've told me a while back, he did bumb his head. and there's an internal bleeding in his brain and a crack in his skull. and he's unconscious at this moment. we have to perform a surgery for him as soon as possible." the doctor said.
renjun's knees got weak and he was about to fall on the floor but jeno caught him and let him sit on the chairs behind them. but he refused. he collected himself and stood up.
"if you could do the surgery now please do it! please make him live! please, doctor! i'm begging you!" renjun begged, crying.
"but this surgery would cost—"
"i don't care how much it would cost me! just let him live! i can't lose him. i can't! PLEASE!!!!!" renjun screamed and cried.
"i'll do what i can do. excuse me." he said and left.
renjun fell on the floor again. he couldn't believe that his best friend, his boyfriend is in a critical condition.

jaemin was with them throughout the trip from the sidewalk, to the hospital. he sat beside jeno and renjun, who were in their worst condition. both of them were sobbing. especially renjun who almost couldn't breathe.
jaemin saw how much renjun and jeno loved him. jaemin saw how both of them cried their hearts off. he heard how critical his life is. he blamed himself. he caused so much trouble. he caused too much pain for renjun and jeno.
when renjun fell on the floor, jaemin wanted to tell him everything's going to be okay. he wanted to kiss and hug him and tell him he's going to be okay. jaemin cried with renjun and jeno. he was in so much pain, as much as renjun and jeno are.
he kept on saying sorry even though they couldn't hear him at all.
