renjun knew that jeno didn't actually speak to jaemin because of the pain he felt.

so by the time he left the room, he immediately held the hand of a sleeping jeno.

"renjun, he's sleeping—" doyoung said but its no use since jeno's already awake.

"i know you were too scared, jeno. you have to say goodbye." renjun said sitting beside him.

"but didn't he already..." hyuck asked.

"knowing him?" he shook his head.

"you were scared to go near him, aren't you? but by the time you got there, you ran away. correct?" renjun guessed right.

jeno pouted and faced the floor. he was too scared to let go of jaemin.

jaemin is his first best friend. his first love, to be honest.

how could he say goodbye to his own best friend?

but he still stood on his feet, and started walking inside.

he stared at jaemin's face. he said what has to be said.

just like what renjun said.

"goodbye, my best friend. my lover. and my number one supporter. i love you. and i always will." jeno said his last words, before screaming,

"this might be crazy but..."

"please, nana. wake up. wake up! WAKE UP PLEASE!"

"wake up, wake up! DADDY WAKE UP!"

a little girl screamed.

weirdly, jaemin heard that and he felt that he was being shaken.

he opened his eyes a little and saw a beautiful little girl shaking him, holding a teddy bear and smiling at him so dearly.

he sat up and held his head on his one hand.

"Mommy! daddy's awake!" the girl screamed.

a beautiful woman who was doing her make up, peaked from the bathroom and smiled, "good morning, babe. you have to get ready, we'll be late for hyuck's wedding." and she smiled.

until realization hit him.

he completely forgot that he has a family. jaemin married a beautiful woman and had a child.

he has been hallucinating for his late best friends who died in a car accident, jeno and renjun. his best friends whom he loved so much are dead and he still couldn't accept it, so he continued to hallucinate about them. he was included in the accident but he was the only one who's alive and forgot about the real world, the reality.
