"What's going on? Is everything alright?"

I turn my head and see Jessica standing a few metres away, shifting her weight from foot to foot as she fiddled with her fingers. I look at Saria, anxiously, waiting for her to give me a sign to say something. Silently, she sits up and takes her arms from around my head. Saria quickly wipes her tears before taking a shaky breath.
"Jessica... we need to talk..."

"WHAT?! You- you can't DIE!" Jessica screamed, hyperventilating. I tried to calm Jess down, but I knew it was just as hard for Saria. Realising you are dying and then hearing it isn't exactly the best feeling in the world. When Jess calms down, she looks at Saria.
"Can't you... be fixed?"
Interesting choice of words.

"I- I don't know... " She suddenly stopped speaking and looks down. I look to see Jessica starting to tear up. I feel my eyes start to burn up as tears threaten to drop.

"Come on, Saria. There has to be something." Jessica whimpers. I feel a lump in my throat start to develop as the silence ensues. Suddenly, Saria's eyes sparkle as she shot up and raced towards Lyla. Jessica and I catch up to her, bewildered.

"Where are we going?" I ask, trying to regulate my breathing pattern.

"A place where I'll be healed." She answered, climbing on to Laya's back.

"Does this place have a name?"

She pondered the question as she settled onto Laya's back, "we call it 'Haven'."

I nod in understanding before actually processing the sentence, "wait... we? You said 'we', right? I'm not just making stuff up. Who is 'we'?"

"My kind, Amanda. There are more people out there like me who can help."

I should've expected that. Of course there were more people like her. Why it was so hard to believe at the time... I didn't know. Something tells me this journey isn't going to be easy.

"Are you just going to stand there?" Jessica questioned me with a goofy smile on her face. I shook my head as I, with Saria's help, climbed on to Laya's back. Laya quickly took off deeper into the forest.
