Once Laya finally slows down, I decide to ask Saria: where are we going?
The question seemed to peak Jessica's interest as well. Saria, still looking ahead, answered."I don't really know."
"WHAT?!" Jessica and I shout in unison, making Laya flatten her ears.
"I knew you'd react like that." Saria mumbled, "Calm down, I've been there before. The way in which to get there is still a little blurry for me."
That put me at ease a little bit. A little bit. Saria's supposed to know this forest like the back of her hand. Or I thought she was supposed to know. I shouldn't doubt her though. Even though she may not remember how to get there clearly, she is still our best chance at finding... whatever we are looking for.
"What are we even looking for?" Jessica asked, as if she read my mind.
"It looks like... a waterfall."
"A waterfall?" I repeat in disbelief. I thought it was going to be some magic realm transporter thing.
"Once you walk behind the waterfall," Saria continues, "there's a magical realm transporter that will take us to the place I need to be."
I knew it! I knew there as going to be a magical realm transporter thing.
"Wait... so... we are going to a different realm?!" Jessica squeals, causing Laya to flatten her ears and growl this time.
"That is what we're doing. Have you never gone through realms before? It is a normal thing for my kind."
Jess face palms. I do so aswell, but mentally."I... have faith in you, Saria." I say, putting a hand on her shoulder, "if anyone can get us there, you can."
"Thanks. I appreciate it." Saria said, sounding plain, but I could tell she was smiling.
"So... this is kind of like a road trip?" Jessica enquired, causing me to laugh.
"I guess so. There's no road here... so I guess it's a forest trip."
...
...
...
"What's a road trip?"
