Just A Little Longer

Taylor finally makes it to my house with all these bags like she about to cook thanksgiving dinner. Hey girl she hugs me walking through the door. Taylor has an extra key to my crib because she is my sis and plus, I need her in case of an emergency, I don't have family here so why not. Why you sitting over there looking crazy Rain? That's my nickname when I was little, I always had my favorite blanket whenever it stormed, and I'll go let up a window and just sit there. I'll listen to the rain until I fall asleep. My mom told me when she was pregnant with me, I always kicked like crazy whenever it rained so that's how she came up with Raina. Something about the rain makes me calm and relaxed, it feels as if it touches my inner spirit and I must listen to it as if its telling me something. T I'm over here shook because so much has happened since I woke up. Well damn! T yells, that's why I knew to buy two bottles. Okay two bottles you know work tomorrow and from my night last night I might end up going to sleep on yo ass. Well for dinner I decided on baked fish, a green salad, wild rice with red green and yellow bell peppers. Yes! T I say in a I am starving tone, hook it up, you always come through. You know I got you, so where do we start with these men child, Jacob or James? Taylor starts to unpack everything and prepare dinner; I go over to the kitchen to help her get some stuff cooking. I season the fish, make the salad, and get us some glasses for our wine to relax and settle down while the food is cooking. I go inside my room to my walk-in closet, grab me and T some soft blankets so we can get on the couch in front of the fireplace and chat it up. Unfortunately, its springtime because I would love to light my fireplace, because it's so beautiful, I think that's what really attracted me to this place. The tan and gray marble surrounds the whole fireplace and when its lit it looks like gold glitter appears from the flames. Here you go girl; I toss T her blanket as she sits on my bearskin rug and I flop on the couch. So, girl you know what I need to know, was the dick on point? How was it? Why us females always want to know that, I start laughing. Because we don't want to be wasting our time or coochie T says laughing out loud. Well I will say this about him, he's the type that will slip your panties off and you wouldn't think twice about what's going on. He like a beast girl, just demanding and when he went inside of me, I got back cramps, he was so blessed. Now you are talking Raina with yo low key freaky ass. T you stupid, but let me tell you this shit, I spoke to James, not in a text, that man called me girl. For real! Hold up Raina, you know what you doing right? You know you done started something with both of them, why just leave James alone and continue with Jacob? You already done slept with Jacob anyway. See Taylor it's a difference, I know it might not seem like the right thing to do, but both of them give me different vibes. I really can say James is that one who wants to get to know you, on the other hand Jacob seem like he wants to be the one you call to come give you the D. I'm just saying I know it was just that one night between us, but I've dealt with guys in the past that started out something like this then find out they not about anything serious and T you have too. Now listen at this, James wants to take me out this weekend, but Cole wants me to fly out to Texas this weekend on some surprise business type void I'm thinking. When were you going to tell me this? How you know I didn't want to go. Well he's actually paying for my ticket girl, so I don't know what Cole has going on, besides you have to look over Hailey and Mila. So, if I leave out that Thursday or Friday which are the days he's bringing to my attention, I'll need you to mange the shop while I'm gone. You know I will do that, that's not a problem at all. T hops up to go check the food, while she's in the kitchen I check my phone and a text from my sister: HEY SIS GIVE ME A CALL WHEN YOU CAN, I NEED SOME ADVICE. I take note of that and I'll see what she needs. Then T! I yell from the living room, girl Cole wants me to link up with Jacob and I know Jacob is going to want to see me on some one on one alone time, then what the hell do I do? Taylor comes walking into the living room with one hand on her hip and the other up in the air with her wine. Now listen, you already gave him some time, it's time to figure James out. You know what Taylor girl I didn't tell you when we made it to our table last night, Jacob's phone kept blowing up at least twice, and he didn't answer, like come on its after two in the morning dude. See that was the red alert right there Raina, his ass might have some going on and when I say that its always a female. You already know I thought that shit, I'm not crazy, but then again, I didn't give a damn at the time and it really wasn't my place to be concerned about his calls its just something to pay attention too that's all. Basically, we just screwed and now what. Now he gone be ready to screw again! Shut up! I hit T with a pillow, girl I need some therapy right now. And I'm giving it to you shit, you ready to eat? Yeah let's eat crazy woman. As we sit at the island and eat, I hear my phone vibrating. I quickly wipe my hands and mouth walking over to the couch like I'm on the runway, I almost make T spit her food out she start laughing so hard, we just goofy like that. I pick up my phone and its James calling. I turn to T pointing at my phone and whisper its James girl, she does the same thing saying answer the damn phone. I quickly get my sexy voice together if you want to call it that and answer. Hey you I answer, so he know I know its him, got to stay on my game you feel me. How you doing Ms. Raina? Oh my goodness he sound so smooth, he actually now that I remember, he sounds totally different from Jacob. He has this smoky tone in his voice, very sexually attractive in a slightly mysterious way. Jacob gives off that husky tone on the deep side kind of hoarse but in an attractive way. I am well just finished dinner, what are you up too? I just made it home with some dinner, do you like Mexican food? Yes, I love it actually, I eat it occasionally, I just started my journey in the vegan world so I try to limit my meat to only seafood, so I'm sort of a pescatarian right now. Vegan huh? That's great, you'll have to cook me some vegan meals one day. Why am I laid out on the floor twirling my hair in one hand just smiling because he is such a gentleman, I mean he seem like he wants to know me. He gives me that old school conversation when a person asks you these kinds of questions you know. Taylor over in the kitchen cleaning up glancing at me every other minute being nosey. That would be nice wouldn't it, and you just assume I can cook huh? He laughs saying its cool If you can't, oh please honey I can burn, what about you? Do you cook? I can do a little some, my mom always told me I had to learn because its no promise that you'll have a woman to do it for you. Very smart mommy I say to myself. Here I got taking the opportunity to slip the do you have a woman question in because I need to know asap. So, do you have some one to cook for you? I mean it is after eight and you buying dinner. Well you got me with that one and the answer is not I do not. Do you have anyone your involved with on a serious level? James to be honest I've been single for over two years now, so I'm just enjoying my business, trying to finish up my second book, and focus on being happy for a change. He didn't make you happy. I sat up so fast because I felt this conversation was headed into something deep. When he asked me that I felt he care or would like to care. No, he didn't, then I hurt him by finally leaving for good. I understand I've been in a relationship for a few years, I even thought I would marry her, but she wouldn't stop hurting me. I'm sorry to hear that, I see we both have that in common. Yes, we do, hey James can you hold on for one moment please. Sure, go ahead baby. Why you got that man on hold? Girl because I need one more glass of wine and I'm taking this one to my bedroom. Oh, so you about to make love on the phone all night. Girl boo! I did that last night, I fell out laughing. Okay keep playing Raina you gone end up caught up, but personally I like it, I'll keep both. See, no I'm not doing this with you, I pour me a glass and grab my blanket, goodnight T. I walk in my room and shut my door, hey James I'm back, did you miss me? I been missing you since I left your store. I get in my bed make sure I am comfortable because the way we talking to each other, it's about to be a long night.

Authors Note: Hey guys we back at it again! Raina seem to be feeling herself baby lol I'm not mad Raina girl do your thing.
