I decided to run off and see if I can find the others for an explanation on why the ditched Dustin and Steve promised me with a kiss he would say everything. As well for the point, that maybe Max knows why Billy came so late.

I haven't exactly properly seen Will, Max, El, Lucas or Mike either so I guess it'd be nice to hang out with them for a day.

I walk to the front opening of the mall to see if I can spot any of the kids. And that's when I see the two girls. El's eyes light up from her previous growing smile and Max gleams at me.

"MAX!! EL!! HEY!!"

The two girls run up to me with smiles. "Mike is being a big jerk to El. I wanted to take her out for some sweet girl fun. Do you want to join us?" Max asks.

I smile gently. "Okay. Sure! But I want you to meet someone."

I pull out Barbara and I did not believe their eyes could get any brighter.

"What's her name?" El asks softly holding her.

"Barbara."

"I'm surprised you haven't gotten caught for carrying a dog inside the mall yet." Max snickers.

I chuckle. "Yeah well, she's a puppy and wolves grow big."

"Wolf?" El looks up to me. I nod. "Billy brought me a wolf the other day for all three of us to spend time with."

"Speaking of Billy, I didn't hear him come home last night."

I frown. "Neither did I. I wonder what happened."

She frowns, then turns to El. El hands me back a yipping Barbara before I put her back in my bag. Max smirks.

Max and El hold hands as they run into the mall, I follow on beside them. El looks around in wide awe and delight as Max smiles and I grin. It appears that El hasn't been in this mall before. Although...it is fairly new. And Independence Day is in four days too!

"So, what should we do first?" Max asks with such a genuinely happy smile.

"Don't look at me. This was your idea! I'm happy enough to be tagging along." I smile with joy.

El looks directly to Max with her question, still catching her shocked in awe look. I laugh at her reaction, I guess I can't help it.

"You've never been shopping before, have you?"

El shakes her head which Max keeps on this cherry bright smile. I'm glad she's happy to be here with her.

"Well, then I guess we're just gonna have to try everything." Max reckons.

I see El smile as well. I know Hopper tries to control her a bit, as he has some temper so this must be a good feeling for her to be out with a friend or two. Max quickly taps both of our shoulders.

"Ooh. Come on." She grabs El's wrist and brings her forward so I run with the two girls in the destination that Max has locked on. All three of us share a bright and giggly ray of sunshine to smile at as we all run together throughout this mall.

The first store we go into is called The Gap and it's a nice accessories and clothes store with so many things I would LOVE to wear.

We look around at the different clothes, accessories, and beanies. I swipe up a gorgeous bomber black jacket and try it on.

"Max, El!"

They both turn to me and El grins with awe. Max's eyes light up. "That looks good on you! Swipe up that beanie!"

I do as she says and pick up a nice f/c beanie and throw it on my head. I position it right and let my hair fall free from the sides of the beanie.
