phil lester listens in awe as he watches a beautiful boy singing on his laptop screen. the boy was covering "i can't help falling in love with you" by elvis presley. he had just found his youtube channel a few minutes ago, on which he posted covers and originals. this particular song popped into phils youtube feed, being phils favourite song of all time. he was in university and found it nice to listen to in order to calm down after a long day. he usually listened to the twenty one pilots version of it, but this he thought, was much better. the boys voice sounded like an angel and he could listen to him all day.
phil scrolled down to reveal his name being "Daniel Howell Music" he quickly subscribed and gave the song a thumbs up. dan didn't have many subscribers which phil thought was strange since he was extremely talented. phil had a channel of his own which had been slowly taking off. he posted more comedy and video blogs than music however.
"wow!! your voice is amazing and you bet ill be listening to this on a daily! keep it up :)"
phils comment read. after posting his comment he played a playlist dan had compiled on his channel. it was Sunday and Phil still hadn't started on his assignments. he turned it on and pulled the work out of his backpack.

dan had just came upstairs to hear a soft ping coming from his computer. he sat down to check the notification. as he read a small smile started forming across his face. the comment made his day much better, knowing that someone genuinely likes what he is making made dan feel a happiness growing inside him.
he had a real passion for music and singing, he didn't care if he wasn't perfect, it was one of the few things that brought him joy so he decided to share it. he didn't have many fans, nor friends. and his friends don't care much for his music. every now and then he gets some nice comment which really make his day. they're the reason why he keeps posting and keeps going with his music.
"thank you so much!! i really appreciate it, and i hope you continue to follow my songs!! :D"
dan shoots a reply back at phil before picking his guitar up and tuning it. lately he's been doing more covers but wants to write more originals. the only problem is, he has no motivation.
