Chapter 7

I only have one more day until work starts. When me, soph and liv went shopping all Sophie talked about was Luke this and Luke that. I'm going round the boys house today so I'll talk to him about it.

Me and James are going out for lunch today in town, he hasn't told me where though, he says it's a 'surprise'.

I got out of bed after going on twitter and decided to make some pancakes!

I'd finally stocked my fridge so I had the right ingredients but I didn't have a method, I'll just have to figure something out!

I put all the ingredients in a bowl and mixed it together. I then put it in a pan and hoped for the best. I sat on the island eating an apple whilst reading a magazine.

I finally realised the pancakes were burning when the fire alarm went off! I tried wafting the smoke out the window but that didn't work so I opened both doors until the ringing noise stopped. I heard someone at the door and cautiously turned around only to see James standing there with a worried expression on his face

"Hazel, are you ok?!" He questioned.

"Yer, I just burnt some pancakes! Don't worry!" I said giggling.

I walked over to the sofa and dived on it. I heard James shut the front door behind him and walk over towards me.

"Hazel, just be careful next time! I think you owe superman over here an apology!" He said sarcastically in his best American accent, which was rubbish.

"NEVER!" I yelled, laughing.

"Well then, I'll have to teach young Hazel here a lesson then, won't I?!" He said and jumped towards me and started tickling me on my ribs and neck.

"Pl-ea-se s-to-p plea-see!" I said in between fits of laughter.

"Only if Hazel apologises like a good girl!"

"Ok, ok i-m so-r-ryy!" I screeched out.

"That's all you had to say!" He evilly grinned from ear to ear.

"Please James, tell me where were going!" I pleaded.

"The only thing you'll know is we're going to the cinema after it!"

"Ooooooo, what are we watching?" I curiously asked.

"Wait and see! Anyway, shall we make a move?"

"Yer I'm just going to go get changed!" I shouted whilst running up to my room.

I had a quick shower and kept my hair down. It was really hot today so I wore a tank top and some ripped shorts with some flip flops. It was only a casual date, wasn't it? Is it even a date?

"Haze, are you ready yet?" James called from downstairs.

"Yes, let's goooo!" I shouted whilst walking down the stairs.

I grabbed my keys and we both left, ready for the day ahead...
