Chapter 9

*JAMES' POV*

I'm going to ask Hazel out to dinner soon, like a date, not with Daniel and Lina ruining it. I'm really starting to like her, she's so caring and really funny, especially when she scared those boys away, that was hilarious!

I walked down stairs, I sat next to Luke on the sofa. I saw skip with a pack of frozen peas on his jaw.

"Hi Luke" I said.

"Hi James" Luke replied.

"Did you hear about Hazel?" I asked.

"Yer, didn't she scare the shit out of those boys?"

" It was so funny, you should have been there!" I said, crying with laughter.

"You like her don't you?" Luke said out of the blue.

"I'm gonna be honest, I really do, I don't want to ruin our relationship over something like this though" my mind was all over the place at the moment, I had no clue what I was doing, and it's all down to since Hazel came, she's always been on mind!

"If you ever need me, I'll be either by the fridge or sleeping" he said.

I chuckled.

"Thanks mate, real help" I said. Sophie then came walking in, obviously looking for Luke.

"Hey Soph"

"Hi James, do you have any idea what your getting Hazel for your birthday?"

"what, her birthday is when?!" I asked.

"Next weekend, hasn't she told you?" Sophie replied.

"No, hang on" I said, getting my phone out.

To: Hazel

From: James

You never told me it was your birthday next weekend :( xx

She replied straight away.

Sorry, don't want to make a big deal, you guys could come round here if you want with Lina, Soph and liv :) xx

I replied back,

Sure, I'm gonna get you the best birthday present ever! ;)

I had a few ideas, one particularly special....
