Chapter 10

*HAZEL POV*

It's my first day in work today! I'm really enjoying it and have a really nice colleague called Danique, she's so sweet but makes the worst jokes, I'm going to try get her and beau to hook up, they have so much in common.

Im doing some odd jobs in work today because I hadn't got any projects yet, although my managers got loads coming up.

James was picking me up because I still hadn't gotten a car yet. Me and Danique were chatting because we'd finished everything. I heard a honk outside and looked out, it was James. I said bye to everyone and left walking down the stairs to the main entrance. I ran outside and into James' car, it was tipping down outside and I didn't want to get soaked.

"Hi haze!" James said.

"Hi, what have you been doing all day then?" I asked sarcastically.

"Very funny! Anyway, I've booked a table for us to have a meal somewhere as my treat for your birthday and I'm not taking no for an answer!" He said whilst driving along the main road.

"Fine but no where fancy please, I don't want you wasting your money on me!" I added.

"Spending money on you is definitely not a waste!" He said.

"Please James, it's only my birthday!" I whined.

"Fine but I've already got you your birthday present so you have to have that!" James said.

Before I could say anything We'd arrived home.

"Here we are! You can come round later if you want, ring me" he said.

"K, bye jemzzz!" I said.

"Bye hazzzzee!" He shouted out the car door as I got my keys out. I opened the door as I saw James park next door and walk through their front door. I shut the door and jumped onto my sofa, putting the tv on and watching all of series 7 of KUWTK.

*JAMES POV*

I walked through the front door and Milo pounced on me. I knelt down and tickled his tummy, he was rolling around the floor barking. I got him from a rescue dog centre, he's for Hazels birthday because I know how much she'd love a dog.

He's a Bernese mountain dog puppy, 8 weeks old. His mum abandoned him when he was born, so I thought it would be good for Hazel to look after him.

Jai and Luke had been playing with Milo all day. When Hazel comes round I'll give Milo to her, and I'm sure all of us will help out if she needs it.

Milo ran over to Luke and jumped up on him, into his arms.

"I'll call her over now if you want?" Jai asked.

The boys had all got her different presents, Jai and Luke made her a collage of all of us together, Beau had gotten her a silver bracelet and skip had gotten her a huge panda teddy.

"Yer sure!" I said.

Jai walked out the front door leaving it open, walking in a few minutes later with Hazel behind him.

She was wearing black ripped skinny jeans with a white cropped top and black docs.

She walked in and gasped.

"OH MY GOD..."
