Chapter 6

*HAZEL POV*

Before Beau went to the shops to get everything for the BBQ, Sophie arrived, Luke's 'friend' , but everyone knew they were meant to be together. Then Jai's girlfriend, Liv came and all 3 of us talked for ages! It was like we had known each other our whole lives! Beau arrived shortly after them and got the barbie going.

It was around 4 when he'd finished and we all tucked in, I was so hungry I could have eaten a whole cow! The conversation was flowing and Beau had bought chocolate cake for dessert!

It was getting late and I'd really gotten to know Soph and Liv really well.

"Liv, Soph, I'm going to go now but I was wondering if you wanted to stay over instead of going back home?" I whispered as my voice was gone because of James picking me up and throwing me in the pool.

"Are you sure?" Liv asked.

"Positive!"

"We'd love to!" They both said.

"James,"I whispered," me, liv and soph are going back to my place, see you in the morning!"

He stood up and gave me a kiss on my cheek making butterflies go off in my stomach. I don't know even know why that happened but I shrugged it off.

"See you" James said.

"Bye guys" soph said.

We walked out and into my house, we all jumped onto the sofas and I put 'step brothers' on.

"Guys, I'm getting tired, I'm gonna go up" I said, getting my voice back.

"We're coming up too, we're shattered!" Liv said.

We walked up the stairs and jumped onto the bed.

"Sooooo Hazel....James?" Sophie said slurring her words, she must be very tired.

"What about him soph?" I said, mimicking her. By this time liv was snoring her head off in between us.

"He likes you ya' know?"

Yer right, anyway I'm shattered, and I was thinking tomorrow we could go on a girlie shopping trip?" I whispered, trying not to wake up liv.

"Yer, why not? Anyway goodnight Hazeellll!"

"Goodnight sophiieee"

I couldn't stop thinking about James though, I don't even know why though!
