Chapter 15

*JAMES POV*

Hazel is staying with us for the next few months because of what happened to her house and she's really shaken up about it.

She was upstairs getting changed into casual clothes after the hospital.

We were all outside sat around the fire, me, beau, jai and liv.

Sophie and Luke were out on a date and daniel and Lina having a night in at her house.

We were all talking when it heard someone behind me.

Hazel stood there, eyes wide open, staring blankly at the fire.

She ran as fast as she could inside, leaving us all in wonder.

" Oh my god! The fire!" Jai finally said.
I just realised what he meant. I ran in after her and saw her on the sofa huddled in a ball next to milo.

"Hazel, it's ok, you're safe now, please don't worry." I tried comforting her. She did have a few scars from the accident, one on her leg and the other on her neck.

"Th-the fire..." She stuttered. I heard her whimper under her breath.

I grabbed Hazel into a hug, holding her tightly.

"I will make sure nothing happens to you Hazel, I'll never let you go again" I said.

She glanced up at my eyes and leaned slowly towards me. As soon as her lips touched mine it was like fireworks exploding, I'd never felt like this before. I felt her smile as she let me go.

" You should get some rest, you must be exhausted" I said, wondering if that had actually just happening.

We both stood up and she walked towards me and kissed me on the cheek.

"Seriously james, thank you for everything. You saved my life and you've been by my side through thick and thin. I love you james, please don't ever forget that. Goodnight" she said as she scooped up milo and slowly made her way upstairs.

My mind was blown, all this happening in one night. I went back outside and sat down on the chair. I wasn't telling anyone about what had just happened because Hazel might not want anyone to know. I had one drink and decided to call it a night, really tired and drained from the past few days.

"G'night guys, see you in the morning" I said as I trudged inside.

I went to my room and got changed. I fell onto my bed and checked through my twitter.

My phone had blown up with notifications so I looked at what was going on. Someone had put a picture up of me and Hazel in Nando's together. Loads of people and fans had commented saying 'how cute' we were and 'are we going out?'

Some other people were saying that Hazel doesn't deserve a life and she should go kill herself. No wonder Daniel kept Lina a secret so she wouldn't get hurt, because people are sick and jealous enough to write this type of stuff. I locked my phone and sat in bed thinking. I just sat there thinking about life and Hazel and the boys and everything. My eyes started to feel heavy so I went to sleep as it was 4 in the morning.
