Chapter 13

I just got back from mine and James' date.

It was all going really well until he mentioned that he liked me.

I do like him back but i told him I wasn't ready for a relationship yet because someone broke my heart back in England and to be honest it's still healing.

When we walked home it was kind of awkward, I hate saying no to James but I can't do it right now.

It was about 9 o'clock, liv had just left after looking after milo. I went upstairs, thoughts rushing through my mind. I got changed into a oversized top and went back downstairs. I made a hot water bottle and lay on the sofa.
I watched the lion king until it was about 11.

I was quite hungry so I decided to have some pizza and chips even though I'd just eaten with James. I walked into the kitchen, milo following me, he never liked being by himself. I got a plain pizza out of the fridge and some chips.
I shoved them in the oven and me and milo walked back into the living room.
I fell onto the sofa, milo jumping onto my lap and instantly falling asleep. My eyes felt heavy and I slowly fell into a deep sleep....

*JAMES POV*

I walked back into the house, even though I'm not in a relationship with Hazel at least I know she likes me back which made me happy.

All the boys were lying on the sofa watching tv and turned around to see me when they heard the door slam.
" Alright James, how'd it go?" Jai asked.

" She said she liked me back but at the moment doesn't want to go into a relationship with anyone" I said.

"At least it's a start" jai said
encouragingly. I shrugged and sat next to him on the sofa.

We watched tv and it was around 12 when everyone started to go upstairs.
Suddenly I heard a loud barking, it went on for about 2 minutes until I smelt a strong burning smell. I ran up the stairs and got jai.

" Jai I think Haze is in trouble, we need to go round there now!" I shouted.

"Ok ok calm down let's go!" He said.

We went down the stairs and straight through the front door.

To my horror, fire was pouring out of the windows, hazels windows. I sprinted across the front lawn and banged on the door.

"HAZEL, HAZEL ARE YOU IN THERE?!" I shouted out.

By this time jai was calling the fire brigade.

I ran into the door and bashed it down, flames in the corner of the living room. Milo ran out towards me and ran back in. I followed him into the house and towards the stairs flames firing at us.
I saw Hazel across the floor, blood coming from her head. I grabbed her and put her over my shoulder carrying milo in my other hand.
I couldn't breathe anymore I reached outside and all I saw was flashing lights and I heard sirens. That was the last thing that happened until I blacked out.....
