Chapter 16

*HAZEL POV*
I woke up and rubbed my eyes. Remembering what had happened last night, a huge grin spread across my face.

I went into the bathroom to wash my face and looked at my reflection in the mirror in horror. I'd obviously forgotten to take off my mascara from last night and now I had panda eyes! I didn't have any makeup wipes so I decided to take a quick shower. When I got out, I dried my hair and let it down.

I walked back into my room and shoved on a 1975 band tee shirt and some black skinny leggings. I slipped on my polar bear slippers and trudged down the stairs because I had the biggest headache ever.

I saw Luke and James sitting on the sofas playing Xbox. They didn't even realise I was coming down the stairs because they were so concentrated on the game.

"BOO!" I yelled, but then grabbing my head in pain, remembering I had a migraine.

James jumped out of his skin but then realised that I was sitting on the bottom of the stairs with my head in my hands.
"Hazel, what's wrong?!" He said, sounding concerned.

"Just a migraine" I gasped in pain as Luke started yelling at the tv.
"Luke shut the fuck up!" James whisper-yelled.

"C'mon Haze, let's get you some painkillers" James said.

He offered his hand out and I took it, slowly getting up off the stairs where jai was coming down.

Me and James walked into the kitchen, hands still linked. I slid onto the kitchen counter whilst he rummaged through the medicine cabinet.

"Here we go" James said quietly, handing me some painkillers. He poured me a glass of water and handed it to me.

"Thanks" I said, smiling at him.
I swallowed the tablets with the water.
James helped me down, taking my hand and walking me into the living room where Jai and Luke were now watching the lion king.

James sat down and put a cushion on his lap, gesturing for me. I lay down on the sofa and rested my head on his lap, watching the lion king with the boys.
