I arrived in LA at about 3am so I stopped by at a hotel as soon as I landed. I woke up at around 12 in the afternoon, still tired as fuck though.

I had a quick shower and changed into some black ripped jeans, checkered shirt and my black doc martins. I did my hair in a quick fishtail and grabbed all my bags. I walked out the room and downstairs. It's winter at the moment so I decided to put my winter coat on.

I got a taxi and gave him the address to my new house. We drove for about half an hour until we came onto a street with huge mansions on it. I stared at them with awe, thinking who could even afford these types of houses. I came to a dead end and the taxi stopped.

"Here you go ma'am, you have arrived at your destination, that'll be $24 please"

I handed him the money, utterly speechless of what my eyes saw before me! The taxi driver got out the car and kindly took my bag and suitcase out of the back. I thanked him and he drove off, leaving me there with my jaw dropped looking at the house that I now called my own!

I went up to the doorway where I got the keys out of my pocket. I put it in the door and it clicked open like magic. As the door slowly and gradually opened, I couldn't believe my eyes! White glossy tiled floor for the entrance and a grand staircase in the corner. I walked further through, the living room with a huge black sofa and a flat screen tv attached to the wall, then finally the kitchen was gorgeous tiles everywhere you looked, glossy black unites with an island and breakfast bar! I noticed a note on the dining table and decided to open it.

It read "dear Hazel, I hope you love your new home and job here in Los Angeles, we have given you the week of so you can settle in and maybe even meet the neighbours...

Yours sincerely
