Chapter 17 

The sunlight filetered into the window behind the bed head upstairs.The blanket was on the floor and Sonia's body was hugged tightly to Theo. One arm around her waist, pulling her close and his leg over hers. A heap of tangled limbs, but a faint smile on each of their faces, reflecting the remnants of last night. 

Flashback to the night before

The bittersweet taste of wine left a tangy taste on Theo's tongue as it explored Sonia's mouth. The was turned off half way through the movie, around the same time Theo's fingers started playing with the hem of her silky camisole, riding up as she leant on Theo for support. 

Sonia looked into Theo's sparkling eyes, their empty wine glasses standing alone on the coffee table in front. His eyes flickered down to her lips for a fraction of a second before finding her eyes again in the dim lights. Her stomach churned as she closed the gap between them, sealing their mouths in an urgent kiss. Their lips moulded against one another, one of his hands cradling her face and the other on the small of her back, rubbing small circles with his thumbs pushing away the silk of her camilose inch by inch. Sonia pulled away for a bit, so that she was now fully facing Theo, kneeling on the couch in front of him. 

"The movie wasn't that good anyways, so predictable." Her fingers crawled their way up his arms, resting on the edge of his sleeves, her eyes flickered between his plump lips and his eyes strong brown eyes, holding her gaze for a second longer than usual. 

Their lips met again, more feverously than before, her hands found themselves wrapped behind his neck gently tugging on his hair. A soft groan erupted from the back of Theo's throat, causing Sonia to press herself to him more. 

"Babe..." Theo broke the kiss for a moment. "I'm this close to being gone you have to stop." Sonia nodded slightly, a cheeky look on her face. 

"Okay." She placed a kiss on his jaw. "We can stop." Another kiss where his jaw meets his ear. "If you want to." She pecked at the top of his ear playfully. 

"Oh you asked for it sweetheart." Theo placed both his hands on Sonia's waist, flipping her over so that he was straddling her hisp. He held her wrists above her head one hand and the other hand was trailing down the side of her face slowly. "You've pushed me over the edge Miss Sonia. How can I punish you for that?" Sonia sucked in a sharp breath at his words as his fingers teasingly skimmed over he camisole, coming to rest at her waist. He leant down and left a trail of kisses down her jaw. "I think I know what you deserve." His throaty, deep voice reverberated in her mind as she just realised what she got herself into. A gasp of realisation left her mouth as he began to tickle her. 

"No! No! Anythi- Ah! No!" Sonia thrashed on the couch trying to get Theo off of her but her arms were still pinned above her head. She laughed until she cried, begging him to stop but he wouldn't, she didn't mind it actually, she liked the way his fingers felt against her skin and how he was on top. 

Getting her hands free from his grip, somehow, Sonia pushed Theo's chest back,  but at the same time she did, he leant back too which caused them to fall off the couch and onto the floor, Theo cushioning her landing. He groaned under her, too tired to sit up so Sonia just rested her head on his chest, kissing his collarbone.

"You had me worried you know, I thought you hated me for last night or something." Theo rubbed her back up and down as she lay on him. 

"I could never hate you. If anything I feel like I -" Loved you more. She almost said that. "Like we're closer as a couple, I mean. And anyway, like I said, I don't blame you for anything so just don't think its your fault." Theo opened his mouth. "No I mean it. If you ever feel like... like its your fault just call me first. Just right away." Sonia thought back to this morning, it did hurt her that she wasn't thef first person he called, no matter how understandable his reasoning. He was silent for a moment.
