Noorie's POV

The nerve of Aslam he humiliated me in front of Tasleem if I can't have him no one will and Tasleem oooh help me god am gonna make that bitch pay for taking what's mine Aslam is mine I have been following him like a lost puppy ever since we were kids I put up with all his silent treatment with all the insults and harsh words he throws at me but that bitch took it away from me shell pay heck I'll make her life miserable to think we were friends I didn't like her from day one but I needed money at that time and then I met her I got close to her and then we became friends to her I was her best friend to me she's nothing the stupid girl even rented an apartment for us and was paying for it I was happy when she graduated and left I felt free because I was actually getting tired of putting up with her we are two different people I like clubbing and partying I smoke I have tons of boyfriends I smoke weed but she dose none of that so I have to put up a facade of being a good girl when am with her it was so irritating and frustrating

Coming back to Nigeria I was ready to keep following Aslam till he gives up and marries me but then he married her of all people what sick joke is this trust me this is war am not giving up so easily by the time am done with them they won't know what hit them

Noorie" come down stairs right now my mom called I'm not in the mood for whatever this is so I pretended not to hear her "Noorie can't you hear me my mom called again urrrrrrggg I groaned before getting up what dose she want I have a lot on my plate right now "your dad wants to speak to you right now she said when I got down stairs to hear what she wanted "where is he I asked not interested "in his room I turned myself to the direction of his room getting there I knock on his door and went in dad you wanted to see me "yes sit down he said dropping the book he was reading

Noorie you are done with school now and you're not getting any younger so I and your mother think its high time you settle down get married and start your own family a friend of mine came with a proposal for his son and I said yes his coming to see you tomorrow so please be ready

I can't believe what I just heard no no no no I stood up dad no no no call back and say no this can't be happening to me can you hear yourself no I can't do this I can't marry someone else no dad no Noorie you will not disrespect me and you don't have a say in this you think I don't know what is the problem its Aslam isn't it huh you have been following him around for so long now he's even married he told me what you did and am disappointed in you give up already Noorie he doesn't want you don't you have any pride huh dad said looking at me with a look that says pity you are getting married and that's final oh and be ready the date has already been set you will be married by the end of the month now leave my room

That did not just happen did it Tasleem you did this to me and you'll pay I picked up my phone calling the one person I know would help me Nana my best friend

I told her everything from what happened with Aslam and Tasleem to dad getting me married "Noorie its either you run away from home or kill Tasleem and have Aslam its one of the two she said sighing ohh I know what to do but how do I get it done don't worry I know of a guy who can do it we'll kidnap her and then kill her don't worry we'll figure it out together okay she said okay I dropped my phone on bed I want to smoke like right now but I can't if mom and dad find out I'll be dead

I just have to sneak out by midnight when everyone is asleep my siblings are back in school the only ones at home ate me dad and mom so my chances of getting caught is slim by midnight I called a friend to come pick me up I sneaked out of the house with no one seeing me "we went clubbing and I got back home a bit drunk by 3:00am I got into my room from the window then got into the shower to wash off the smell of weed and alcohol my parents will kill me if they find out

I got to bed and slept immediately I woke up really late and with a terrible headache I opened my phone to see a text from Nana "call me ASAP so I dialed her contact, heyyyyyy what's up I asked I got the guy who would do the job but he wants 5million for it do you have that amount of money she asked yeah that won't be a problem but tell him we are giving him half when the job is done he'll get the other half okay yeah sure she said and cut the call poor Tasleem enjoy the little time you have with Aslam before I send you to hell I told you his mine m, mine alone

God I feel happy right now am getting that bitch out if the way now I have to think of how to get Aslam I need to make him fall for me or maybe I should pretend to be over him to get his attention pretend to mend my ways see if it will work yeah am that desperate to have him

Am paying him a visit at work just as I was about to leave mom knocked on my door "what dose she want "come in I answered yeah mom can I help you I asked putting on my wrist watch "I know alot of things you think we don't know you go around doing Noorie you think you are smart and we are stupid its your life Noorie live it wisely I will always pray for you but make sure you don't regret your actions later we may wake up alive today and be dead tomorrow our lives are not ours to keep so live a good life if you can not one you'll regret when its to late I hope you understand with that she got up and left

I still want Aslam I can't just give up I'll fix my life when I have him I can't stop now I can't let Tasleem have him it'll kill me I have to do this

I called Nana to ask when the job will be done "heyyyyyy sup she said when she picked my call, i think m suspects something I need this done ASAP when will the guy do it I asked "well the bitch doesn't go out much so his keeping her under surveillance don't worry it'll be done in no time okay she assured me okay I said cutting the call I couldn't go out after my talk with mom she suspects me already I can't afford to blow this up I need Tasleem gone badly so I have to play cool before mom finds out

Should I call Aslam I should I want to hear his voice I'm going insane right now I was pacing back and forth when I remembered the guy dad wants me to get married is coming today so I grabbed my car keys I need to be out of this house before he comes

Where do you think you are going to young lady I was startled there he was sitting on the couch watching tv uhmmm dad I need to get something from the mall I shuttered "well you can't Ibrahim is coming any minute so go back to your room right now he said still not looking at me I feel like dying right now why is dad doing this to me this is my life

After half an hour I was called down stairs I went into the living room Ibrahim was there sitting next to my dad I said my greetings not that I wanted to dad told me to take him to the garden so we could talk and get to know each other

We sat in silence before he finally spoke"I know exactly who you are I know everything there is to know about you am just here because my parents want me too they don't know the real you but trust me I do so don't go on thinking am getting married to you because of anything you're nothing to me what's your name again oh wait I don't care he said before walking out on me

I sat there feeling dumb what just happened did I just get walked over by a guy oh no I'll make him pay nobody I mean nobody those that to me and go scout free I'll get back to him when am done with Tasleem and Aslam
