Chapter 20

Alhaji Tukur's POV

I left home really early today because one of our company's was having a problem so I had to go check it out and am traveling out of the country with my with to go see our kids and grand kids so I have to leave everything in good hands Mubarak and his father are our business partners so  leaving the  company's with them

I've been calling my wife to check up on her because she hasn't been feeling too well for the past few days so I keep calling to check up on her and today the house security isn't that tight some of the employees left for their homes because we are traveling out tomorrow so I told them they could take a break. I check on the CCTV cameras every few hours to be sure things are fine

My PA came into my office to inform me about a meeting we have with some shareholders I got up and left for the meeting not after calling my wife to check up on her things just seems off for me today I have this bad feeling something is going to happen but I have no clue what it is I spoke to her and left for my meeting I came out of the meeting by 2:00pm so I headed to the mosque to say my prayers after praying I went out with some of the shareholders to have lunch on our way their I called my wife again but she didn't pick so I let it be thinking maybe she's asleep she needs it really she has been stressing herself these past few days so she needs all the rest she can get

We got back to the office after lunch I went into my office asking my PA for a cup of coffee I got back to the rest of the work I have left I signed what needed to be signed and have them back to my PA its 4:00 already I have to head home now I need some rest to before tomorrow and I need to help my wife with packing speaking of her I picked my phone and called her again but she still wasn't picking so I decided to check the CCTV cameras going through it I saw my wife laying on the floor lifeless with Mairo standing over her head holding a piece of glass I got up running out if my office with my car keys like a mad man I usually don't drive but right now I can't even begin to look for my driver I drove out of the office driving the car in full speed it  isn't really a long distance from my house to the company am in right now so I got home in no time I ran into the house straight to my wife's room by the time I got there Mairo has left good for her I would have killed her I still will kill her I picked my wife up running down stairs I put her in the car and drove to the hospital they immediately took her in for surgery I waited for what seemed like days but it was only a few hours finally the doctor came out gesturing for me to follow him to his office I followed him forcing my legs to move away from the door that has my wife behind it

Alhaji Tukur your wife is out of danger for now she's really a fighter not anybody can survive this if you had brought her here a few minutes late she would have died she's in coma right now but she should be out of it in a few days and it'll be a while before she can walk again she'd need therapy she was stabbed really deep like I said she's one lucky woman she needs all the love and care she can get right now"doctor someone did this to her the person thinks she's dead and I want it to stay that way is it possible at her condition to take her out of the country I can also pay for you to come with us I'll handle you payment and accommodation I don't want here to be in this country not when the criminal is still out there please help me doctor"Alhaji Tukur we can take her out of the country but we have to give at least 2 hours before doing that she just came out of surgery and I'll help you I'll go with you I'll just go get what I need and also leave my hospital in good hands I'll suggest you go home and get what you need too before we get going "thank you very much doctor may Allah reward you thank you so much

I left the hospital after going to check on my wife she looked so pale and thin ya Allah Mairo is dead when I get my hands on her how can someone be so wicked as to killing her own sister when I get my hand on her she'll be sorry I headed home and packed up everything we'll be needing I called my pilot to get the jet ready before we get there I didn't tell Aslam, Khalil or Tasleem what was going on I don't want Mairo finding out that my wife is still alive and I don't want them worrying I'll let them know once I get there my house is a few blocks away from Aslam's house in dubai khalil also has a house there we made it that way to be close to each other

We are at the airport right now boarding the plane the doctor suggested we take a nurse because she'll be needing help as she can't do it alone right now I don't care how much am spending so I say to everything I called the security at my house in dubai to let him know am on my way I want the house clean before I get there I called up the kids telling them to meet me there

Our plane landed and a driver came to pick us up taking us home we got there after an hour Aslam, Tasleem and Khalil were waiting already their faces dropped when they saw their mom laying lifeless they had tears in their eyes I can't look at them right now we took her to her room and then I showed the doctor and nurse to their room opposite my wife's room so that they will be close to her and monitor her at all time

This is doctor Jameela and nurse Fadeela they'll be taking care of your mom I introduced them to the doctor and nurse please doctor could you excuse us ever since they saw their mom they have been crying I feel like crying too but I have to be a shoulder for them we went in to my living room Aslam was the first to ask "dad what happened to her why is she like this??

Anty Mairo happened she did this to her and then I told them everything that happened with the video from the CCTV cameras "I will kill Anty Mairo I will show her what it means to be wicked, I will break every single bone in her she thinks we are scared of her or what well we're not she started this and I will end it that was Aslam he stormed out of my house with Tasleem following him Khalil just stood there not saying anything he made his way to their mom's room and sat beside her crying his eyes out he's in so much pain right now we all are and am scared for what Aslam will do to their aunt not that I care about her I just don't want my son turning in to a murderer because of a lunatic like her I need Tasleems help to keep Aslam away from doing anything like that

When am ready to handle Mairo that's when I know my wife is really out of danger she won't know what hit her she will pay for all this this won't go unpunished not while am still alive its either she kills me or I kill her but she will be punished I picked up my phone to call a friend of mine who is in the army I narrated everything that has been going on to him "Tk why didn't you tell me all this sooner I would have caught that lunatic long ago you suffered this alone without telling me why Tk hmmm well now it not the time for all this what I need from you right now is her pictures and anything you have on her okay send it to me asap with that I thanked him and sent him the pictures and anything that could help I gave him her full name too the address to their family house too and her ex husband's contact he may know something we don't we have to get her no matter what so we need all the help we can get khalil also gave the address of the house he was kept captive in and the name of her friend helping her at that time too with the description of the men who held him captive

Mairo hell is coming for you and you don't even know it. I asked khalil to move in so as to help me take care of their mom and am worried about leaving him alone Aslam has Tasleem and his kids so am not that worried that he'll do something stupid but for khalil he still hasn't said anything I don't want him by himself he might do something stupid

Right now the only thing I want is to be close to my wife she's my life I want her safe I can't live without her we've gone through so much together and am not ready to lose her not now
