Chapter 16

Aslam's POV

We got  to my parents house in no time, we met mom and dad in the living room watching tv "salamu Alaikum we said in unison Tasleem was by my side with our hands intertwined "wa 'alaikumul salam they answer us we sat down on the carpet and said our greetings

Mom, Dad we are actually hear to talk to you about something but before that we have good news to share with you Tasleem will soon be expecting we also just found out"Alhamdulillah am really happy for you both and we are going to be grandparents Alhamdulillah said mom"congratulations to you both am happy for you said dad patting me on my shoulder

Well the second reason we are here  is because of Anty Mairo  that's how we told them everything by evening we left for our house

On our way home Tasleem held my hand in hers she intertwined it and then connected her phone to my car playing a song by Morell "Saruniya" then started singing it so looked so beautiful and happy

"So many haters they are wasting their time they don't  wanna see us together me and baby oh ho dai sai dai ku mutu mun ki  my rabu sao dai ku jima kuna surutu now back to the story abeg now let's go ahead gari ya waye kukuruku from WhatsApp muka koma Skype ya gani tace musa you're my type na ganta na ce baby youre my life and truly I just wanna make you my wife sai tayi smiling "💋🔥🔥

She kept singing she sang beautifully I was amazed truly and I felt like it was me talking to her in that song I took her hand and placed it on my chest right on my heart I want her to feel how my heart beats for her how I feel when she's right next to me how happy I am with her by my side and in my life

She's all that's on my mind all the time am so lucky to have her in my life I wouldn't trade it for anything

We got home by 9:00pm we already prayed and ate at my parents house so what was left was for us to take a shower

"Do you want me to get you anything she asked me "I'd love to have a cup of tea with mint and cinnamon please I said kissing her forehead she smiled and went into the kitchen I sat on the couch waiting for her she came back in a just a few minutes she gave me my cup of tea then sat down next to me with her head on my laps we decided to watch a movie before going to bed we decided to watch "Money Heist "we actually started watching it yesterday night

She slept off I picked her up taking her to our room I laid her down on our bed then turned off the light pulling her to me immediately she put her hand on my chest I smiled and kissed her on her forehead good night habibty I love you I said before falling asleep too

We woke up to someone banging on our door I got up to go and check with Tasleem following me I tried to stop her b it she wouldn't listing

I opened the door but I got the shock of my life it was khalil I lost consciousness I woke up on the couch with my head on tasleem's lap khalil was sitting on the couch beside me with tears in his eye I sat up looking at him still not believing my eyes he got up immediately he noticed I was awake pulling me in a hug we broke into tears in each others arms

We thought you were dead you died in the accident how are you hear I said holding his face in my hands what happened to you tell me where have you been then huh

We when got into that accident I woke up in the hospital but couldn't remember anything I was there for a week with nobody visiting me my second week in the hospital a woman came to see me I got discharged that same day the woman took me with her she said she was my aunt and that my parents we're dead and I was their only child I left the hospital with her she took me to her house but then said we were traveling the next day "we left for katsina she doesn't let me go out am always guarded by some people I don't know the woman doesn't stay much in the house she just comes to check on me once in a while I got so used to staying alone I tried to remember my parents or anything but I couldn't remember anything I tried and tried but nothing but I still didnt give up I was in the house a few days back when she came in looking worried and panicking she never talked to me or even acknowledge my presence in the house she only looks at me with so much hate the night she came I heard her talking to someone on the phone"am in serious trouble I need your help my plans are failing I need to be out of this country ASAP yeah the fool still doesn't remember anything I'll just kill him since everyone thinks he's dead already I can't let the police get me or my sister by now I know that stupid Aslam has told them everything you need to help me get out of here before they get me "she opened the door to her room and stepped in I noticed the guys guarding me weren't by the door where they usually sit I pushed the door open and made a run for it immediately I stepped out running one of the guys spotted me and started running after me I lost him but got hit by a car "I woke up in the hospital a young man and woman were sitting right next to me everything started becoming blurry I started seeing faces I remembered the day of we had that accident, I remembered Aslam, mom, dad I remembered the woman who took me it was Anty Mairo I remembered everything I couldn't stay in the hospital I thanked the couple who saved me I got their contact and left the hospital I started searching for you I was at your old house but I was told you packed out when you got married so I went to your office I Met your secretary  and he gave me your address I made him promise not to tell you so here I am I came to see you first I want you to come with me to see mom and dad I can't take going alone he said in tears I pulled him into a hug

Tasleem was also in tears sitting by my side with her hand on my shoulder I can't believe my brother is alive and he went through all that alone

Tasleem made breakfast and forced us to eat we all left for our rooms to take a shower getting ready to leave to mom and dads house we were all nervous we don't know how our parents are going to react to this

When we got there khalil froze at the entrance door he was in tears I hugged him and then pulled away "you can do this let's go in am right by your side am here okay I said he smiled at me before I opened the door mom and dad were in the leaving room "mom dad I called the both turned to look at me I moved away from the door giving way for khalil to come in he came in looking at mom and dad "mom dad he called mom feel unconscious and dad froze I can understand them we all thought we lost him but here he is standing in front of us alive I shook dad out of it we laid mom on the couch

We told dad everything mom was still unconscious we called our family doctor and she said moms going to be okay we took her back to her room Tasleem is looking after her dad also couldn't believe it

Mom woke up after a few hours of been unconscious we told her everything she couldn't believe what Anty mairo did she couldn't believe that her sister did all these and that khalil is still alive she hugged him and kept crying

My family is complete we just have to get Anty mairo and make her pay for what she did to us I can't forgive her for what she did to us

Am happy that I have Tasleem at these moment of my life she has been really supportive to me and my family I will never ever regret having her as my life partner I looked at her and she was looking at me with tears in hear eyes I badly wanted to hug her but I didn't I just smiled at her and she smiled back I got my phone out from my pocket and texted her "I love you so much tasleem you and our baby are my life💖"

She smiled and texted me back "I love you too so much and you and our baby are my life too💖" what will I do without her she's my life my baby the love of my life she's mine completely mine I want to shout that out to the world I looked at her and winked at her she smiled and covered her face

Dad looked at us and smiled and winked at me he caught me staring at my wife but I don't care right I just want her in my arms and me in hers cause that's my home that's where I want to be for the rest if my life
