Chapter 15

Tasleem's POV

Anty mairo has been staying with us for a weeks now we ignore her presence we pretend like she's not there Aslam has still not gone back to work he works from home but goes out for fresh air we mostly go out to stroll or eat out or visit family members Aslam and his mom are putting effort to patch up their relationship which am happy and glad about it, i don't like how their relationship is damaged and all but am glad they are putting things behind them now

Today me and Aslam both woke up late because of one or two things that went on yesterday I went downstairs to get us breakfast I met Anty mairo in the living room watching Tv I said good morning and left

I toke breakfast upstairs because Aslam said he doesn't want to come downstairs he's not in the mood for Anty Mairo's stupid harsh comments which I understand I don't like her one bit she insults me at every given opportunity she gets butbi never talk back I just ignore her

After breakfast I went downstairs to do some chores Aslam got to work on he's laptop when I was done with my chores I was about to go upstairs to take a shower when Anty Mairo called me stopping me on I track I groaned and turned

I need a clean towel I'll get one from the other room I think I have clean ones there I said leaving the room I closed the door behind me I went into my former room to get clean towel I was in there when I heard the door open I thought it was Aslam but it was quite again so I called out his name "Aslam babe is that you I asked but still no answer and I could feel someone's presence turning around I saw a man with a mask on his face staring at me I moved back he kept coming at me trying to get a hold of me so I screamed as load as I could as load as I have ever screamed in my life he caught me and pinned me down on the bed trying to get rid of my cloth I kept screaming just then the door opened and there he was my Aslam before I could blink he was in front of me getting the man off me

Aslam kept hitting him I was on the floor in tears I nearly got raped in my own house who could be this heartless "Aslam tied him up and then called the police they got to our house in no time they took him and asked Aslam some questions and then left saying they'd call Aslam

Come here Aslam picked me up in his arms taking me to our room he put me down on our bed then sat next to me pulling me to his arms I hugged him like my life depended on it I kept crying and Aslam kept consoling me I fell Aslam like that in his arms

When I woke up Aslam was still by my side he helped me take a shower and then get dressed that was when something came to me I didn't see Anty Mairo its like she's not in the house was this her doing or am I over thinking this

Do you want something to eat Aslam asked me when I stood up after saying my prayers "no I just want to sleep I said laying down on bed fresh new tears made its way to my eyes I can't still believe what happened

Babe Aslam said pulling me to his chest "its okay am here now I will die before I let anything happen to you or let anyone harm you, you are my life Tasleem you know that and it hurts me to see you like this that man will pay for what he did to you I won't spare him but please be strong for me okay I love you he said kissing me on my forehead I hugged him and fell asleep again

When I woke up I felt dizzy and my eyes were blurry I immediately felt like throwing up so I made my way to the bathroom in a hurry I threw up almost everything I ate Aslam came in looking worried babe are you okay he touched my forehead and it was hot "we beef to take you to the hospital you're burning up I think you're running a fever he said helping me up I don't like hospitals but right now I need it so I didn't sat no to him he helped me get dressed because I feel so weak

We got to the hospital and the doctor took some blood for some tests we waited for a while before we were been called we got in and sat down in the doctors office she went through my fine before smiling at us Mr and Mrs Tukur congratulations you both are going to be parents Mrs Tukur is nine weeks pregnant

Aslam got up from his chair screaming and shouting thank you Tasleem not caring that the doctor was still there Aslam kissed me all over my face before hugging me he was so happy so was i, i couldn't stop smiling am going to be a mother ya Allah thank you the doctor told me of what to eat and not and the prescribed some drugs and then we left

When we got home Aslam wouldn't let me touch or do anything he picked me up bridal style to our room then went downstairs to get me something to eat he has been treating me like a little child like am fragile he made sure I ate and took a shower the tucked me into bed

When he was done with his work he got into bed with me pulling me to him "Tasleem I can't tell you how happy I am, a so happy that I think I might explode any minute this is the best gift anyone has ever given to me and am also happy that you are going to be the mother of my children I can't wait for our baby to be her to raise our child together Tasleem thank you so much Tasleem I feel so happy and complete with you he said kissing me in my forehead I snuggled more into his arms we fell asleep like that

We woke up a bit early Aslam made breakfast for us he fed me to we were in the living room watching tv when we heard the sound of our door bell Aslam got up to check who it was I wore my hijab and still sat on the couch Aslam came in with two police officers they sat down facing us

We were able to get the man to talk it seems he was paid to break into your house and attack your wife he said he was paid by a woman named Mairo "I could literally see smoke coming out of Aslam's ears he was super furious I could see it"officers she's my aunt she was staying here with us but we haven't seen her since yesterday I want her arrested an pit in jail and as for the man she paid I want him in jail too

We gave them all the information the needed about Anty mairo and then they left Aslam saw them out "what have I ever done to her to deserve this she'll pay for this I'll never forgive her she tried to hurt you and am going to hurt her ten times more Aslam kept speaking furiously

Get ready we are going to see mom and dad about this we have to let them now we'll pray and head there right now I don't care she's moms sister I'll end all this incest and for all this has to stop I can't take it anymore
