Chapter 12

"Can I get a vodka and cranberry?" Asked a party girl with long brown hair.

"Sure thing!" I said and fixed her her drink and then handed it to her.

I seriously hate this job. I cannot wait to go on tour with mick and leave this hell-hole. I poured myself a shot of whiskey to try and make the night go by faster. All I want to do is to go home and snuggle up in my blanket and with my kitty. Although it would be nice if mick was there too... I've gone to see him almost everyday since he fell, which was about 5 days ago. He seemed to be healing fast and was almost back to normal. Ever since we met, we've been inseparable. I like that sentence. "Ever since bella and mick got together, they have been inseparable." I imagined someone else saying that and smiled. Bella Rose and Mick Mars! Bella Mars....jesus what am I doing. My daydreaming is getting the best of me.

My daydreaming was interrupted by one of my coworkers trying to get my attention. I turned and looked at her.

"Bella, you've got a call!" My coworker said and motioned toward the back.

Hmm. I wonder who that could be. I walked out from behind the bar and went down a hallway to the back room of the bar where it was somewhat quiet and where the phone was.

"Hello?" I said into the phone

"Hey bella."

I knew that voice and my face immediately lit up.

"Hey baby. Thank god you called, this shift is painful." I said

"Oh yeah? Well I've missed you. 24 hours is too long" he said and laughed

"Way too long. So what's up babe?" I said

"Well I've got to tell you something." He said

Oh god. Those words are never good. "Alright..." I said

"Do you remeber the night you punched vinces date and I asked you out?"

"Yea of course. How could I forget?" I said and chuckled

"Well do you remember what day it was?" He asked

"Ummm...last month. May 27th?" I said

"Exactly. What day is tomorrow?" He asked

"Ummm....holy shit the 27th! No way it's already been a month?!?" I said

"Yes! I cant believe it either. We have to go do something and be like a proper couple." He said and laughed

"Hey we are like a proper couple! Is dinner to cliche?" I asked

"No no it sounds nice. I'll take you to one of my favorite fancy places." He said

"Oooh can we get ice cream afterwards?" I asked and laughed although I was totally serious

"Yes bella. We can get ice cream." He said while laughing

"why dont you stay over at my place afterwards? We can celebrate our one month anniversary." He said and changed the tone of his voice.
