Chapter 52: "That Girl"

Today is Saturday, I am here at the hospital visiting my sister who is still in comatose I'm holding her hand sitting on the side of the bed. All those past years I just my blame self for everything it's my fault why my sister is laying down like a dead plant. Those hospital machines around her makes my heartbeat stop look how pitiful my sister is. I still hope a miracle could happen I want her to wake up soon I miss her so much and she's my last hope I know she'll tell me what happened to my past and be on my side she's the only one beside me.

"Alora, please wake up...I don't care if you're mad at me you can slap me or kill me I don't care! I deserve that it's my fault but please wake up I miss you so much I don't have anyone who can listen to me help me I need my past I won't give up because I know you'll be disappointed if I did....I really feel alone I have no one on my side you're the only one I can trust. So please wake up....."

I just can't my stop myself from crying while looking at my sisters face holding her hand really tight telling her all my pain,heartache, my emptiness but it's myself to blame of what happened to my sister because of me. Suddenly, I heard the sound of the door slowly opening as I turn from that direction and see my mom walks in holding a bouquet of white roses my sisters favorite flower with a pity full reaction.

"M-m-mom? You're here?!." I stuttered.

I stood up from my sit in deep shock and amazement because it's been a long time we haven't seen each other so I run to her and give a tight embrace.

"S-son?!." She froze standing while I hug her and you can see my mom's shock expression as well. My mom answered and her eyes starting to water and she hugged me back like she's longing for it. "E-dward...H-ow are you my s-son?." She asked with a soft tone and I can feel her warm drop of tears on my cheek.

"I-am doing well mom?." I answered softly and continue speaking. "What about you? why do you look so pale? are you eating properly mom? please don't push yourself too hard I believe my sister, Alora is waking up soon so take care of yourself properly mom don't get sick." I said calmly while embracing my mom tight I just can't describe how miserable my mom looks rightnow it is breaking my heart more and she holds me back crying.

My mom and I haven't seen each other for so long my Dad didn't allow us to meet or to talk ever since I got married and stayed with Kristine.

"I just miss her so much and you my son my hearts being thorned into pieces separated from you both ....but I'm glad seeing you're doing well now." She said patting my head gently and whispered in a low tone. "Listen to me, I wish you happiness so go and find her "That Girl" don't ever give up..." My mom added with a really low voice that I can't almost hear it.

"M-om... what..do you mean?? Find who?." I asked directly with confusion.

"You're not supposed to suffer like this because of your Dad I won't let him stop you for being happy...I- I just want the best for you my son and that girl is Mai-.."

Suddenly a loud slamming of the door as it opens and my moms interrupted because of my Dad's angry voice as he enter the room looking fiercely towards my mom.

"Catherina!!! What are you doing here?!?."

"D-dear!? I-" My mom suddenly let go our hug and turned her face in shock.

"What are you saying to this guy huh? I told you not to go here with out me!." Dad replied with an angry tone and all of a sudden her turned his head looking at me. "And you! What are you doing here? Who told you to visit my daughter! Get out!." Dad said and pointing my way outside.
