Coralys pov
School was ok. There's not much to report about there. I'm not bullied, I didn't have anything cool happen, nothing embarrassing happened, it was just a boring day really.
I get into the backseat of Demi's car and there's several moments of silence before she asks, "How was school?"
"Boring."
"Well you're finally getting the news I'm sure you've been waiting for, you're going home." She says.
Of course I am. She's getting tired of being the babysitter and has given up. I knew she wouldn't keep the promise she made months ago. When does anyone ever keep promises they make to me? Never, the answer is always never.
"K."
"I'd through you'd be crying of excitement." She says.
I should be crying in excitement, but I think this does hurt a little. She promised she wouldn't give up on me and it's kinda like she has all because of one therapy appointment. I may have not opened up to her but I was beginning to put the smallest bit of trust in her. That doesn't mean I forgive all she's done or said, but it means I was actually learning to trust someone. That's something I've never done and is gone now. It was something I was proud of myself for doing. When she told me something, I believed her. I never do that. Usually my mind tells me they are lying or manipulates the situation to make be believe whatever is going on, I'm not allowed to be apart of. So if everyone's going to Disney then my mind tells me I'm not going because they don't want me to. I'll just be a burden and I should stay home which results in me staying home alone for an entire week.
"School sucked all my energy out. I had algebra 1 today. Maybe next time." I lie.
"Sorry to burst the bubble, but I'll see you soon. I believe you'll be at the Dallas show." Demi says.
"Whatever."
"I guess I need to make my shows more entertaining, you seem to always be so bored. I'll be sure to figure something more entertaining." She says.
"Cool."
"You're one tough crowd." She says.
I leave her statement unanswered and the rest of the drive is nothing but silent. When I get to Dianna's I grab my backpack and follow Demi to the front door.
When the front door opens Dianna smiles but it quickly fades when I push past her and ignore the meet and greet session, "CORALY!" Madison screams with excitement.
I ignore her too and walk straight to my bedroom and lock the door. I throw my backpack at my closet and get back into the bed.
I fucking hate my life.
Demi's pov
"What happened? Dallas asks.
"Nothing. I thought she'd be happy to know she was coming back here. She's always hated me. When I told her she didn't have a usual sarcastic comment like 'Oh no, how disappointing' or 'I'm so sad, what will I ever do?' Kinda stuff. I don't know if she was hiding her emotions or not, but she didn't appear to care. It's was kinda like a whatever kinda thing. But when I told her I thought she'd be crying of happiness she just got serious and said something along the lines of maybe next time and she's just tired and had algebra today. I honestly don't know why she's so angry. The entire time she's been at my house she's been nothing but sarcastic, annoyed, irritated, mad, and constantly moving away from where ever I was. So with all that, I don't know why she's not thrilled to be back. I'm not her favorite person." I say.
"Did you give her a heads up before you brought her?" Madison asks.
"No." I say.
"Then yeah, she's probably going to be pissed for a while. She probably feels like she's just being passed around."
