Demi's pov

As I walk to Coralys hospital room door, I hear a conversation between two doctors, "I can't do this, that's my daughter. Someone else needs to be her nurse. I can't do this." A woman cries before walking out of the room.

I walk into the room and sit at yet another plastic chair in another hospital room.

"When's the last time her bandages have been changed?" The doctor asks.

"The ones on her forearm at changed everyday. They cleaned it and put new bandages on. The ones on her neck I don't know. I don't think they have been changed. They have stitches in them and said that they'd dissolve in their own or something to that sort." I say.

His mouth just drops and the first thing he does is wash his hands and get gloves on he then walks to her bed and takes the bandages off and it looks awful.

Her neck is red and swollen. The stitches seem to be scanned over and there's puss oozing out of the area and it overall looks really bad.

"It's infected, how did they not notice that?" He asks himself.

I pull my phone from my pocket and text my mom.

Demi: We're at Cedars-Sinai Children's Hospital. She did well during transport and they have her admitted in now. The doctor says her neck wounds are infected though, but he's cleaning it all now.

Momma: I'm on my way with dad. I do not want you to tell Madison anything. If she asks, you're still in Miami with Coraly. She's still with Dallas and I want her to be as oblivious as possible. I don't want her to get her hopes up to see her when she won't be able to. Not with Coraly in this condition and the mental state she's now in.

Demi: is she ok?

Momma: Shes hurting, but Dallas is watching her extremely close.

I lock my phone and look up to see the doctors performing blood work on her.

"We're going to do blood work just to make sure the infection hasn't spread to her blood stream. If it had we'll begin antibiotics immediately through iv." He says.

"Ok." I say.

I watch many tubes be filmed with Coraly's blood before labels be put in them and they be rushed out of the room.

The doctors check vitals and when the news comes that she's stable, they let her be for now. But I know they'll be keeping a very close eye on when condition.

I look at my sister and shake my head, "Coraly, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for everything I've said, everything I've done, and everything I've failed to do. I've been one of the worst people in your life and I'm so sorry for that." I say quietly.

*time skip*

When I hear the door open, I turn my head to see my mom and dad. Both immediately look at Coraly. Their faces drop when they see her on the same machines she was on when they left her. Their hopes being put down when they see her still in a coma.

"Has She done anything?" Mom asks.

I shake my head, "Hasn't moved a single muscle. The doctor says her neck is infected, but the infection hasn't spread to her blood. But that's the probable reason she's running the fever. They have her on medicine through IV." I report.

"Did they say how much transport would be?" She asks.

I roll my eyes, "I'll pay for it Mom. It needed to be done. Stop worrying. There was no use in keeping her there when she could get better care here. She also lived here, the transport needed to be done." I say.
