Chapter 7

IT WAS SUNDAY MORNING. She can’t help but smile every time she thinks of him. The way he hugged and kissed her lips. She remembered the scrumptious feeling of just being with him. And right now, she realized how she missed him already.

She takes a bath and prepared to wash her clothes when her cellphone rings. Napangiti siya nang makita ang naka-register na number ng tumatawag.

“Hello there. Good morning Mr. Anderson. Napatawag ka?”

“Good morning, love. How does having breakfast with me sounds to you?”

“Hhmmm..Sounds interesting. What’s listed in the menu?”

“How about fresh fruits, fired eggs, fried rice and a grilled beef loin. Is that fine with you?”

“It’s perfect. I thought you have practice now with your team mates?”

“Nope..Probably next week. Some of the group is not available by now.”

“Okay. I’ll just change my clothes.”

“Alright, love. I’ll wait for you here.”

“Where’s here?”

“Outside your gate”

She walked near her window and peep outside. She had no idea he was outside. And she saw him leaning on his car being parked while talking to her on the cellphone. He waved his hand upon seeing her in the window.

“You’re really sure na sasama ako ha?”

He just laughs. “Well, you have no choice my dear. I am your boyfriend remember? And if di ka papayag, I had a plan of taking you whether you like it or not.”

Tumawa na rin siya. “Really, Anderson. If the kidnapper is handsome as you, there will be no problem with that.”

“You think so? Kahit pala sino pumasok diyan sa bahay basta guwapo eh okay lang sayo?” Medyo naging seryoso ang tinig nito.

“Hey, hey, hey. It’s early in the morning at mainit kaagad ang ulo mo. Cheer up, will you? I’ll be ready in five minutes” she hurriedly said and ended the call.

Pagkatapos niyang magbihis ay bumaba na siya. Gerald opened the passenger seat when he saw her coming. But before he let her in, he hugged her tightly and kissed her on the lips.

“Good morning..” He said after the kiss.

Namumula naman na sumakay na siya sa kotse. Nang nasa manibela na si Gerald, he just stared at her before he turned on the engine and drove the car.

After hours of travelling, they stopped in front of a rest house in Tagaytay. Gerald turned off the engine and get out of the car. He then opened the passenger side and let her out. She smiles as she glanced and gave him a hug.

“Whose house is this?” She asked.

“Ours. Si Ken lang kasi madalas dito magpunta kasama mga friends niya from showbiz.” He held her hand and led her in the gate. “Let’s go inside.”

When they got inside, she went straight to the window and gazed outside.

“This place is breathtakingly beautiful!” she said.

He hugged her from behind and kissed her right cheek.

“I’m glad you like it, love.”

“But of course. Wait here, are you trying to flirt with me huh? Have you ever flirted with any woman before in your life, anyway?”

He laid his face in her neck and answered. “Yes. Actually, the first time was with you.”

Napataas ang kilay niya sa narinig. “That was so sweet.”
