Both of the teams were already in their dug out while waiting for the game to start. As expected, huge numbers of audience flocked the gym. Gerald gives coaching to his teams while Sarah was just seated at the back.
“Guys, let’s just play this professionally. Let’s give our audience some enjoyment and fun. In behalf of my brother, Ken, I would like also to grab this opportunity to thank all you for your steadfast support and cooperation every time we do this for charity. You never refused our invitation.”
“No problem, bro.” Fred said.
“Anytime, Bro. We’ve been doing this for years and it’s nice to feel that even in our small way, we will be able to help your charity.” Enchong said.
“And sino pa ba naman ang magtutulungan, bro?” Young JV butt-in.
Some of the team just nodded to Gerald and give their enormous smile at him.
Sarah can’t help it but to feel proud with her boyfriend. He is so lucky to have friends like them. She just smiled while watching and listening to them. After that last minute instruction with his team, Gerald went to Sarah.
“Hi Babe. Okay ka lang ba diyan?” Gerald asked as soon as he gets near to her.
“But of course, Babe. I’m just so proud of you.” Sarah answered and kissed him quickly on the lips.
“Babe, don’t start it here. I might forget that we have some audiences here.” He whispered that makes Sarah laugh.
“Anderson, behave. That was just a kiss..”
Maya-maya narinig nilang nagsalita si Enchong.
“Hey love birds, gusto niyo ba talagang mang-inggit? Bro, why don’t you and Sarah join us here? Sort of getting to know each other.”
“Oo nga naman, Bro.” singit ni Matteo.
Gerald piercingly stared at his team. As if telling them to shut up. Nangiti nalang si Sarah ng makitang namumula na naman ang tenga ng boyfriend.
She held his face with both of her hands and say, “Hey, what’s in you, Babe? Namumula ka naman. I thought we’ve already talk about this?” Bulong niya sa kasintahan.
He smirked. “But Babe---“
“No Buts. Let’s go and join them. You’re so possessive.” Sabay hila sa kamay ni Gerald.
Papunta na sila sa grupo nang biglang pumasok ang organizer ng event.
“Sir, we are about to start. Be ready in five minutes.” Sabi nito kay Gerald.
“Okay Anne, thank you. Will be there in a bit.” Sagot ni Gerald. “Whew! Save by the bell..” Bulong ni Gerald sa sarili pero narinig pa rin ni Sarah.
