As I lay there next to Astrid, I could hear her breathing. I turned to her and looked at her with worry.
"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked her.
She turned her head to me.
"Yes. I'm fine, Hiccup." She said.
I sighed.
"I'm sorry. I should've brought you somewhere else."
"What? Hiccup, that was fun!" She said.
"Wait, what? Having a near death experience is fun?"
"Yeah, it gets your adrenaline pumping and then, you can't feel anything when you get hurt." She said.
"I felt something. I thought you were going to die. It scared me to death, Astrid." I said, standing up.
"Yeah, I know. And I'm happy Toothless was there to save me. And you, of course." She said.
I held out my hand for her and helped her up.
"At least you finally did it." Astrid said, brushing herself off.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." I whistled for Toothless and mounted on him.
"Back to Berk?" Astrid asked me, climbing on Toothless.
"Yeah. I want to attend Ingrid's wedding. And besides, she's your cousin. And now she's my cousin." I stated, flying back to Berk.
"Yeah, I know."
