The day went pretty slow again, I had cleaned everywhere upstairs except Lazarus's room. The last time I went in there I was aggressively pinned between an almost naked man and a cold door. I decided to wake him and ask him to move to another room so I could clean his.

I held my breath and shuffled to his door 'I'm not afraid'. I knocked on his door, no answer. I knocked again, no answer. Maybe he was out? I grabbed onto the doorknob, a shiver ran up my spine, the hair on the back of my neck stood on end. STOP the little voice in my head yelled. I ignored it and opened the door anyway.

The room was dark except for two glowing burgundy eyes that peeked out from behind a slit in between the curtains hung from his massive canopy bed.

"What are you doing?" he growled.

"Cleaning.." I paused "or at least trying to." I wanted the stone floor to swallow me up so I didn't have to face him.

"This room is off-limits. I thought I made that clear the first time."

"I know, I didn't think you were here" I stuttered, you fucking idiot. Lazarus got out of his bed with a speed that made me sick to my stomach. He is going to snap. Before I could speak Lazarus was standing in front of me, his burgundy eyes were no longer glowing once we were in the hall. My heart started to beat out of my chest, my stomach dropped to my feet as I craned my neck to look up at him.

"You're afraid of me," he smirked.

"I am not."

"I think you are."

"I have no reason to be afraid of you" I puffed out my chest hoping it would make me look more confident. He threw back his head and laughed.

"Oh, you poor little girl" he wiped away his non-existent tears. Before I could ask what he meant he stepped forward, grabbed me by my shoulders, spun me, and pinned me against the wall outside of his room.

My head started to spin as Lazarus tilted my head up, he smiled which revealed perfectly white teeth and two huge fangs that looked so sharp they could cut your flesh. He leaned down and dragged his two fangs against the delicate skin on my neck. I gasped and tried to balance myself on the wall with my hands. "Now are you afraid?" I felt him smile against my neck.

I was fucking petrified but knew that was what he wanted, "no" I muttered.

"I think you are lying" he smiled.

"I'm not."

"Does it make you afraid knowing I could kill you in about thirty seconds if I wanted to?" he sounded amused.

"Then do it." Time seemed to stand still for a while, Lazarus didn't move he just stood there with his head down in the nape of my neck his fangs still rested on my neck.

"Why do you want to die?" he finally spoke, he sounded almost sympathetic almost.

"Nothing to live for" I admitted, it was true I didn't have anything to live for. He let go of my neck and pulled away from me gingerly.

"You're crazy" he grinned, "I like that" he pulled away completely before walking away and down the hall to my room.

"What the fuck are you anyway?" I choked out.

He stopped in his tracks and turned to me, "a vampire" he laughed. He continued down to my room, "don't snoop in there" he snapped while pointing a finger at me, he was back to normal Lazarus before he slammed my door closed.
