The week went by pretty fast, Lazarus and I got to know each other a little more emotionally and physically. After the first day, Lazarus slowly started showing me things I never thought I would do. He obviously was more experienced than I was. Lazarus was my first kiss and the first guy to make me feel things I have never felt before. The week was filled with deep kisses and new sexual experiences. I was kind of disappointed knowing the week was over, but I craved to get back to my old routine.

Blood never got easier to drink. I felt disgusted with myself knowing I was the reason some innocent human was killed. Their life meant nothing to these people.

Silence filled the dining room when Lazarus and I entered. The Monarchs and their Queens stood from their seats as well as the people that followed them. Their purpose I never discovered. Casper and Azar held a smile upon their lips where Darius scowled. I remembered his threat 'One day you will be mine.' Never in a million years, I thought.

Stella walked out of the kitchen, she was holding another platter with two cups of blood.

"Why are you out of your room?" her brows were laced together, her lips held a little scowl.

"It's been a week," Lazarus smirked.

"Oh yeah, I forgot." She eyed our hands that were laced together, a hint of a smirk appeared on her lips.

Lazarus led me to the table where everyone sat; we sat in our usual seats thankfully. Stella rushed over and handed me my cup of honey-flavored liquid. I gulped it down, knowing the quicker I got it down, the less I would think about it. Everyone looked at me, Lazarus's eyes twinkled with adoration. I felt a blush rush to my cheek, which I had no idea would work since I was dead.

"Would you like some more Cara mia," he brushed a piece of my hair off my shoulder.

I shook my head, "I'm good, thank you," I smiled. He kissed my cheek gently before taking his cup and drinking it.

"So when will her coronation be?" Darius asked, his eyes were on me. I felt like if he could shoot daggers out of his eyes, I would have been dead.

"December," Casper smiled; I felt a pit form in my stomach.

"Does that mean another feast?" I placed my arms on the table.

"In a way but we'll host it this time," Omelia smiled. Azar her husband grasped her hand and smiled.

"You are so kind," his voice was husky. Omelia's cheeks turned a slight pinkish tone.

Azar and Omelia were a beautiful couple you could tell they made a great team ruling whatever they ruled.

Omelia was wearing a gorgeous purple silk dress, her blonde hair was curly but most of it was up in a bun which held daisies in it. Her eyes were a burgundy colour like everyone else, and her skin was as pale as snow just like mine.

Azar wore a gorgeous suit with a purple tie that matched her dress. His burgundy eyes shone with adoration for his wife.

I turned my attention away from the couple to notice that Darius was still glaring daggers at the side of my face. His wife Belladonna was staring at him. Her eyes shone with unshed tears. Her hair was done up in her usual Victorian-style curls. She obviously had make-up on no doubt to gain attention from her husband since his eyes were on everyone but her.

Eris and Casper sat beside each other as every couple did at the table, but they weren't looking at each other with love and affection. They were wearing a green dress and a black suit with a matching green tie.

"Where will it take place?" Stella broke the silence.

"Azgar of course," Casper smiled.

"Azgar?" Casper looked at Lazarus; his eyebrows seemed to meet in the middle.

"You didn't tell your wife about where you came from?" he asked.

"No, I didn't think I needed to since we will never be living there," Lazarus grit out.

"Never say never my friend," Casper laughed.

"I will not be taking my wife there for more time than needed," Lazarus grit out.

"What a shame, afraid of the chaos?" Darius mocked.

"Fuck off," Lazarus snapped.

"Afraid you'll be called baby snatcher?" Darius fake pouted.

"Shut up," Lazarus spoke lowly.

"Why cause you know it is true? You know it is disgusting to marry and bed a 17-year-old?" Darius mocked.

"I haven't bedded her."

"But we all know you want to! You are a disgusting baby snatcher, whose only real desire was to fuck her. Good thing we showed up, or else she could have been pregnant by now," Darius continued.

"How dare you speak to me like that!" Lazarus stood, his chair screeched back with his movements.

"Did I hit a nerve?" Darius laughed.

"If you are going to go as low as you are right now, then so am I," Lazarus shouted.

Stella came around Lazarus and grabbed me, she moved me to the kitchen, but I dug my heels at the doorway. I leaned against it to watch. Lazarus and Darius looked like they wanted to kill.

"We all bloody know you beat your wife when you can, and cheat on her any chance you get! You want to call me a goddamn baby snatcher, how about the time you tried to assault my wife,"

Darius didn't back down he leaped onto the table towards Lazarus. He grabbed Lazarus and pinned him back first onto the dining room table.

Lazarus managed to push him off and pin Darius under him. He wrapped his hands around Darius with one hand occupied the other one grabbed one of the forks off the table and stuck it right into Darius's forehead. The wound wasn't deep enough to kill him just enough to stun him. Everyone knew if Lazarus were to kill someone it would involve a wooden stake.

"That is enough," Azar snapped, his chair screeched against the floor as he stood. "I am the king of peace, and you two shall stop it right now! Lazarus remove the fork out of Darius's head. Darius get up and apologize now," Azar pointed his finger in their direction.

Lazarus hesitantly pulled the fork out of Darius's head, and let go of his throat. He quickly jumped off the table before rushing to me.

He pulled me to his chest, "are you hurt?" he mumbled into my hair. I shook my head. He turned us around so he was facing the people, "you all need to leave now" Lazarus spoke lowly.

"Lazarus I think we could sort this out," Azar started.

"Nonsense. Why would I let someone who has insulted my wife stay under the same roof as us." Azar looked at Casper.

"We need to just go," he mumbled. Casper and Azar helped their wives stand before they left the dining room as for Darius he just stormed out of the dining room and up the stairs.

Everyone was gone pretty quickly, we didn't even say goodbye they just left with their things. After a day of cleaning and sipping on blood Stella left too leaving me and Lazarus alone.
