Chapter 10

The next morning, I woke up with a throbbing headache. I groaned at the pain. I was also feeling really nauseous. But I couldn't really puke, I had puked everything out of my stomach yesterday. I slowly opened my eyes, but quickly closed them with a groan. The sun was way to bright. I heard someone walk in the room, and set something on the end table. I had to bad of a headache to even want to open my eyes to see who it was.

I then felt a hand on my forehead, caressing it with their thumb. "Abby, I have some aspirin for you."

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Jake, staring at me with concern, Like he always does. I sighed and slowly sat up. Jake quickly handed me the two little white pills, which I gladly took.

He sat down beside me on the bed. "How are you feeling?" he asked.

"Like someone is hitting my head with a sledge hammer." I groaned.

He gave me a small smile and slowly rubbed my leg. "Yeah, alcohol does that to you."

I sighed. "I'm such an idiot."

"You're not an idiot, you're a normal person."

I sighed. "Sure."

"Hey, I know what'll make you feel better."

I raised my eyebrow at him questionably.

"Go on a date with me today, we can go to the beach and movies."

"I don't think that's such a good idea."

He furrowed his eyebrows. "Why not?" he asked.

"You just broke up with Nicole; don't you think she will get a little mad?"

He looked me in the eyes. "And I told you, I don't care, I want to be with you."

I sighed in defeat. "Ok fine, but if Nicole becomes a problem, this date is the only date you'll get."

He grinned like a two year old who got his way. "Deal."

I had to borrow one of Liz's bikinis; it was just a simple black bikini nothing to special. When I got dressed, I threw my hair up into a high pony tail and we left.

It felt so good to be at the beach. I haven't been to the beach in forever, as weird as that sounds, since I only live a few blocks from the beach. But I never had the time or will to go to the beach, I hated going by myself.

Jake chose a spot in the shade to put are towels. I was planning on just lying on my stomach and getting a little tan, but Jake had other plans. He lifted me by the waist and had me over his shoulder. I just started giggling and smacking his back telling him to put me down.

"The only way I'm going to put you down, is if we're in the ocean." He said. I was about to protest, but Jake chose that moment to drop me into the salty, cold water.

I quickly stood up and glared at him. He gave me a sheepish smile. "I didn't want to get my hair wet." I whined.

He laughed and gave me a hug. "That's what showers are for."
