Chapter 12: Another Battle

Marigold cooks dinner while Liddan messes Jude. After scolding Liddan, she forces him to help cook. To his misfortune, Marigold required him to wear an apron as punishment. All of the sudden a knock on the door rings through the house and Nashi comes running in.

"GUYS!" she shouts, "Don't freak out, but...I caught Gideon of fire again."

Marigold quickly drops everything and runs out to see Gideon relaxing on the ground on fire.

"What? How? What?" Marigold scrambles to grab some water. "Wait, you use ice. Why can't you just melt the ice."

"Because, Nashi didn't catch me on fire with magic. She just caught me on fire. We were having a fight, but we can't use magic."

"Yeah...but you're on fire. That's sort of an emergency."

"But if I use magic I loose."

"But if you don't you sort of die..."

"I'll die a winner."

"No! You'll be dead!"

Marigold dumps the water on Gideon.

"Penalty! Outside assistance!" Malcon said blowing a whistle.

"Okay!" Liddan shouts chucking the apron to the ground. "My turn!"

"All of you are crazy!!!" Marigold shouts walking back into the house.

Lucy, Natsu, Gray, Erza, Happy, and Carla stand around the crystal in confusion.

"Nothing happened." Gray says.

"DARN IT! I wanted to catch something on fire..." Natsu complains. He then begins to sulk in the corner.

"Wait, something did happen. The crystal is shaking." Erza points to the crystal that shakes on the table.

Natsu stands up quickly, which in turn knocks the table over. The crystal falls onto the floor, but then moves independently to a different spot in the room.

"It moved...on its own." Lucy says.

Gray kicks the crystal across the room, only for it to slide over to the same spot and continue to shake.

"Its trying to go back to the other crystal." Gray says.

"And if we follow if, then it should bring us to the criminals." Erza explains.

Natsu looks over to Lucy. He gives her a look and she pulls out her keys.

"I'm on it." She pulls out Virgo's key. "OPEN, GATE OF THE MAIDEN! VIRGO!!"

Virgo magically appears and spins into the room, taking an attempt at a stellar front flip, but immediately hits the ceiling from lack of space.

"Ah..." she says as part of the ceiling falls to the ground, "I see you've finally decided to punish me, princess."

"I vigorously deny that." Lucy shakes her head. "Virgo, could you please follow this crystal?"

"Of course princess. Would you like me to take you with me?"

"Oh, that would be--" before Lucy can finish her sentence, she is yanked by Virgo as she digs the hole.

In a failed attempt of heroism, Natsu grabs Lucy's leg but is only pulled along with the.

"We shall suffer together!!" Natsu shouted.

"Aye!" Happy cheers as he jumps into the hole grabbing onto Natsu's scarf.

"You both are complete idiots!!!!" Lucy shouted at the utter chaos.

"Now, now." Lucy turns in shock to hear the voice of Erza, scolding her. "As a wise man once said, a team the falls together stays together."
