Happy?

Chapter 12

It's been several years since the fight with Naraku. Which Ai didn't learn about until way after it had happened. She had woken up in her room, recovering with Sesshomaru right by her side. When she was well again, he had kissed her breathless. Ai was sure she had died, but he had assured her it was all real. Ai has moved into Sesshomaru's home permanently, and the fox compound was gifted to Kagome and Inuyasha, after Kagome had found her way back to feudal Japan. That pretty much catches us up to today.

I walked around my home in nothing but a stop, my hair sticking up in the front and my eyes glued shut. I slumped into a chair in the large dining room, and slammed my head onto the table.
"Morning sunshine." Kagome chirped.
I made some inhuman noise and pried my eyes opened to look at her. Since they've moved so close, Kagome and her husband, Inuyasha, come by frequently to visit. Much to the disdain of my husband, Sesshomaru.
"Why are you so cheery, it's too early." I groaned.
"It's noon dear." Sesshomaru piped up, gliding into the room, followed by our niece and nephew. Did I forget to mention that Kagome had children? Whoops. They toddled over to their mother and started tugging on her pants. I smiled as I watched them.
"You're smiling now, wait until you have your own to deal with." She lounged a spatula accusingly in my direction.
I held my hands up in mock surrender,
"I think I'm going to get dressed before your perverted friend pops in too." I gave them all an accusing glance and walked off to change, followed by my silver haired man.
He sighed and buried his nose in my neck, and nibbled playfully. Gently bringing his hands down to caress my tummy.
"When do you plan on telling them?" He mused.
"Oh they'll find out eventually." I waved him off and dressed in a long, green kimono.
"They'll be happy for sure." I added with a smile.
"Are you happy?" He questioned and pulled my close again.
"Yeah, yeah I'm happy." I grinned, I've come along way, but I'm happy I've made it this far.
