I was still shaken up, when I finally found myself back at home. I easily found Sesshomaru in one of the libraries, the one on the same floor as my room, of course. He looked up at me and frowned,
"Ai, where have you been?" He cocked an eyebrow up at me.
"Look don't worry about it right now, help me train? " I pleaded with my eyes.
He gave a curt nod,
"We'll begin tomorrow morning." He wrinkled his nose,
"Now go have a bath, you smell like death." He added.
I barked out a bitter laugh and paused on my way out, a sly smirk making its way onto my face.
"Well, if you insist." I wiggles my butt in his direction, and slowly untied the obi, holding my dirty kimono in place. I let the garnet fall to the ground and giggling, I streaked out of the room.
I stopped only when I arrived to the bathing chambers, and looked myself over. The bruises that had formed earlier were only tinged yellow as my demonic abilities sped up my healing process. I sank deep into the hot bath that I'm sure Aya or Anna had prepared before my arrival. I shrugged and sunk up to my nose, it was probably meant for him. His loss.
I scrubbed my skin almost raw to get rid of the smell that lingered from my captivity and then scrubbed my scalp and hair clean with a floral scented soap.
I frowned as I finally coaxed myself out of the steamy water. I dried and dressed and made my way to my room to occupy my time until tomorrow's training session.

Sesshomaru met me on the open patch of land behind the home very early the next morning.
"We'll start with sword combat." He stated and tossed me a wooden training sword. I snatched it out the air and gave a small nod. He stalked around me in a small circle and adjusted my stance with a few pokes and pride of his wooden stick.
"Keep your stance wide, needs bent. Stance not too wide." He added, amused.
"You don't want to be easily knocked over, or dominated." His eyes twinkled.
In a flash he had be knocked to the ground, winded.
"Let's try this again." He whispered, warm breath raking over my face. I glared, I knew he was trying to get a reaction out of me, after my strip tease.
That's how I training went, days turned to weeks, weeks to months. I adjusted from what I learned, I got stronger, and I had a new found admiration for Sesshomaru. Our training sessions became longer and we became more flirtatious with each other, or maybe that was all in my head.
All I know is that the stronger I got, the more tails I got. It was kind of annoying but, I'd live. At least I'll be prepared when, or if, that old creep showed back up.
We were fighting, hand to hand, in the field behind the house. Both of us glistening with sweat and huffing. I was going in for a low kick, he jumped and landed one squarely to my chest.
"You left yourself open. You'd be dead." He growled.
I wheezed and spat to the side.
"Again." I got into a stance.
He shook his head,
"It's enough for today." He stood up straight.
"I have arrangements to attend to." He added.
I grit my teeth and turned away. I feel like I haven't made any progress lately.
"You don't like social gatherings, what're you up to?" I looked at him accusingly.
"I have a...meeting. With the heir to the north." He shrugged.
"Dude. Nanami is like, a whole skank." I hugged and turned away, arms crossed over my chest.
He barked out a small laugh,
"I think you're just jealous." He muttered and began walking away.
"Hey wait!" I called out and took a few small steps towards him.
He paused,
"Maybe when you get back...we could go for a walk?" I looked down, suddenly less confident.
"Maybe." His voice didn't give anything away, and I let him walk away this time.
