What If You Raised A Juvie? [Scenario #1]

At first, it was all red and pink. Everything burned, and you couldn't see. You tried moving around. Everything felt gooey and hot.

With adrenaline, you burst out of your confinements. You wheeze, finally getting fresh air. Although, your skin was still burning. You tumble out of what looked to be one of those Swarm pods upon closer inspection.

You try to calm your breathing as you look at your hands and skin. Your clothes were practically disintegrating and skin showed because of that. Red burn marks and scars littered your once clear skin due to being in the pod and cancelling the transformation process.

You weakly leaned against a wall, trying to regain all of your mind and will. You stiffened when you realized something. Were you even human any more? Sure, you felt human, looked human,  but were you a hybrid now?

You shook your head, grunting. Doesn't matter, at least you're alive. You rubbed one of the burn marks gently, flinching at the pain. Yeah, of course you were human...Just a little scarred-

You looked around the area you were in, countless other pods filled the area. It looks like other humans weren't as lucky to escape as you. On closer inspection, your pod seemed to have been weakened by either scratching or bullets... What luck.

You wandered around, not feeling used to your legs due to being in the fetal position during the pod incubation. You gasped when you thought you saw one of the pods move. You gulped, walking towards it.

Is...is it another human in there? Are they as lucky as you? You felt the pod, its smooth slick surface giving a weird sensation through your hands. You tried looking for weaknesses in the pod as you poked and pried the protective skin.

It looked like doing this with you bare hands wouldn't do anything. You quickly darted around the area to the best of you ability to find anything to pierce the pod. You managed to find some sharp rubble from around the nest and picked it up.

"Don't worry...I'll save you, whoever you are...." You murmur.

You then ran back over to the pod and rammed the rubble into the pods surface. This caused the pod to rupture and you to jump back as the acidic goo from the pod sloshed out. You then looked at the broken pod, trying to decipher anything that could be a human.

The only thing you found was a small white creature, about half your height. It was curled up, before twitching and slowly flipping over. You stared at the claws and glossed white eyes on the creature. It's mouth even looking...unfinished-

Your breath hitched as you darted back, wanting to get as far away from that thing as possible. The creature got on all fours and looked at you, making weird cooing sounds.

"What...the literal...fuck...is that-" You grunt to yourself, trying not to panic. It would have been a bit easier if the thing didn't come closer.

You press yourself against the wall as the creature was two feet away from you. You stare at it, it stared back. You were weak without any more rubble or weapon, and it had claws. You didn't stand a chance, right?

The creature then came closer, wrapping an arm around your leg, then the other around it as well. You wanted to kick it away, but thought that would also lower your chanced for survival-

Pretty soon, the creature was fully wrapped around your leg and thigh. You grunt, trying to walk. You managed to drag your stolen leg, the creature cooing affectionately.

"I don't know why you haven't tried to kill me...But I am not your uber, aight?" You grunt jokingly, almost hysterical at this point. The only thing you got in reply is it gently crawling higher up to your upper body.

You were practically holding the thing now. At this point, you realized it might not kill you, but to be safe. You tried to keep the thing content by hugging and holding the creature.

Great, now it just felt like you were caring for a baby. Maybe if you kept it happy enough, it will definitely not kill you. So, I guess you accept your roll as a mother now.

You decided to sit down in the nest for a while, for the sake of your adrenaline calming down and to 'get to know your child'. You played little mini games with the creature. You taught it patty cake, rock paper scissors, and tried to figure a name for it.

"Hm...I'll give you a name once a think of one, alright?" You smile at the small white creature. It chittered and nodded, hugging you tightly.

After you both were rested, you decided it was time to make your mistake. You gently put the creature on your back, teaching it how to piggy back (Which it seemed to enjoy quite a lot).

You then looked around, the nest strangely had no other swarm in it currently. At Least that's what you thought before you had to dart behind a wall to not get the attention of a snatcher.

Of course Snatchers would be here, they bring people to make into Juvies. Which this was what your 'child' was.

You darted through the nest, glowing red vines littering the place. Soon you found the exit, plopping your Juvie down on the ground and looking around.

"Time for a long trek home..." You huffed" recognizing the place you were in, but realizing it was far from your home. "At least your here...." You smile before looking down at the Juvie, who cooed before hugging you. And of course, you hugged back.
