(I started this like two-three years ago so the first half is the old writing style, and the second half is the newer writing style)

"Leo? Leo! Where are you!?" You yell. You had met Leo only two weeks ago and he was incredibly obedient. Leo rarely left the house, mostly because of your fear that he would be shot.

Normally people didn't raise swarm, due to them trying to kill them. But the pod you were in two weeks ago seemed to hybridize you. You weren't totally swarm, but you also weren't just human anymore.

If you did take Leo outside you had to disguise him or hide him. Pop him in a bag or put on clothing like hoods to cover him. You mostly took him to a private area to play with him and such.

But today, Leo acted weird. He was more excited and seemed eager to get outside. Next thing you know, Leo had escaped and was gone. Now you couldn't find him anywhere and you were worried sick.

It didn't seem like he was in your village, so you left and continued looking. You stiffened and heard a screech. It was ear piercing and you covered your ears out of instinct. It almost sounded like a call.

"Leo!?" You yell as you darted towards the sounds. You ducked behind a tree and noticed an emergence hole in the distance. Upon closer inspection, you could tell a certain Juvie was there too.

"There he is...." You mumbled as you approached the emergence hole cautiously, soon noticing the red vines in the area. A swarm nest.

"Leo, what has gotten into you!" You scold as you saw the Juvie look up at you and purr. You cross your arms and sighed.

Your eyes widened slightly as Leo jumped in the hole. What on earth was he doing?! You couldn't follow him. Due to a pinkish red liquid coating the walls and pooling in the hole. That stuff would burn you again for sure.

"What the hell do I do..." You panic as you try to find a way to retrieve Leo from the acidic hole. Oddly, despite your rational mind panicking for Leo, you felt calm. That odd, new part of you felt okay with him jumping in. For now, you take a deep breathe and back away.

"I guess if he originally was born from that gunk, he's fine." You rationalize your mind as you slide down the wall. Your dress was already getting stained again but you didn't seem to care. Why was a swarm nest of all places making you feel so calm-?

You couldn't help but gasp, awakening from your pinkish haze as you saw something move in the Emergence hole. You knew you needed to leave this nest before this weird feeling you had continued, but you were worried for Leo. You were fine until you entered the nest, is it that other part of you that's reacting? It almost feels like home....

You then see a larger clawed arm grasp the end of the Emergence hole. You try your best to stand up as you focus your eyes on the hole in front of you. You tiredly try to call to the hole.

"Leo..?" You manage to utter as you saw an entirely new creature emerge from the hole. Was that...Leo? You didn't want to take chances, but you felt that it was Leo. There was a familiar smell to him. "Smell...?" You whisper to yourself in confusion.

The newly evolved Leo was now larger than you, pale skin a pinkish color. His new body looked sensitive, your eyes fixating on the acidic gunk that still lingered on his body. His eyes glowed a dull yellow and he ad a new row of razor sharp teeth. 

You were still in shock, your newly enhanced senses going haywire as you look around. You wanted to go home, this new feeling was getting to you. You pull a smile towards the creature in front of you. 

"You're Leo, right? I can tell it's you." You say softly, the creature looking towards you and tilting its head. A deeper version of Leo's signature chitter resounded from his mouth as he quickly bounds up to you. Your then met with a tight hug as the creature makes a growl.

"Well, this is nice and all, but now I have to figure out how to bring you home...." You murmur, lightly pushing him back.  "People will now know that you're swarm, and you won't be able to fit in my bag."

A whine sounded from Leo as you think of a plan. It's dangerous to stay here, but maybe you'll figure something out.

"How about a sneak you in through the back door? I believe I'm close enough to a forest that we can sneak back that way?"

An excited coo escapes Leo's maw as you make your way out of the nest.

Taking care of Leo was going to be a lot harder now.

(AYE THE RETURN OF YOUR JUVIE AFTER TWO YEARS- Btw, Leo is just his canon name, you can name him whatever you want. He's like Corrin or any other renamable main character. I have decided I might actually make joke posts with him and the Pouncer you guys also have, idk if I gave the Pouncer a canon name yet. I hope you enjoyed, and I also hope I can write more with Leo at some point. For now, I leave you with a small Leo joke post.)
