No body has done this yet though and I have been addicted to the Games so far.
So Just request a character and is Reader has any specific traits (Neko, Hurt, Locust, ETC)
Btw it does not just need to be Human Charact...
(HHHH Haven't updated this book in a long while, ever since 2019 it looks like. I am so sorry, I fell out of the fandom for a while.)
"Come on! I try to have a conversation with you and you don't say anything?" The blonde mechanic huffs, your face brightening a read as you look away. Your grip on your lancer tightened as you thought of what to say.
"You ever thought that she doesn't want to talk to you, Baird?" Marcus grunts as he keep his eyes straight ahead.
"I don't think she doesn't want to talk to you, but she is rather, reserved if you get that?" Dom explains as Baird looks over to the two other guys.
"Ah, The Silent Type, I bet I can get her to crack." Baird laughs as you attempt to speed walk away from Baird. Dom sighs as he sees this, glancing back at Baird as he keeps walking to the next objective.
"With that approach, you're scaring her. Do you not know how to deal with someone who's shy?" Cole pipes up, Baird sighing softly as he glances at you.
"I always thought I'd get her to fawn over me with my, well, charm." Baird laughs in an attempt to flirt, only earning an unimpressed sigh from you.
"Yeah, good luck with that." Marcus rolls his eyes as Baird grunts.
"Don't give me that, you aren't much of a ladies man yourself, Marcus."
Marcus said nothing, probably for the best as you all continued to walk. There was a Locust emergence hole that needed to be closed, and Delta squad was chosen to be the one to deal with it.
Once you got there, you realize why Delta-One was called.
"Is that a damn seeder?" Baird groans as you watch the large creature spew Nemacyst spores out of it's body.
"That would explain the jammed radio signals...." Your murmur quietly as Baird picks up on this.
"You know they jam radio signals?" Baird asks as you nod. That was the first time he heard you say something. Of course, he was eager to hear you talk more.
"Alright, Who has the Hammer of Dawn?" Marcus asks as you pipe up.
"Me, Sir...." You answer as you hold the device up. Marcus nods and glances at Baird.
"I know you might not like this but we have no choice. You and Baird need to go and get to a position to fire on the Seeder. Me, Dom, and Cole will clear the area for you. Move." Marcus orders as you glance at Baird, giving a slight nod as you comply to work with him.
Locust drones swarmed the area, you charging in with Baird and your Lancer as you looked for places to prepare the Hammer of Dawn.
"We need to get to somewhere high!" Baird yells as you nod, Looking up to find somewhere high.
"Where?" You call back as Baird points to an abandoned building with a balcony.
"There!" Baird finishes as he drags you towards the building. "I'll cover you."
You couldn't help but blush at the close proximity, yet now was not the time to let your shyness get the better of you. You had a job to do, and many lives were at stake. You needed to push everything aside and focus.
Baird kicks in the door, aiming his Lancer and shooting at the small amount of Locust Drones in the building. You quietly yet quickly follow him in, Climbing your way up the rickety stairs to get the the balcony. Baird stayed by you, which you mentally thanked him for because you probably wouldn't be able to do this otherwise.
Getting to the balcony, You quickly pull out the Hammer of Dawn and take aim. You concentrated as you made sure your crew wasn't in the way.
"WOAH, (Y/N) LOOK OUT!" Baird warns as you gasp, turning around to see a Locust Drone with a Lancer. You attempt to dodge, almost getting hist with the blade as you saw Baird plunge the bayonet of the gun through the Drone's chest.
Breathing heavily, you look at Baird as he tosses the dead drone aside. You gulp, cringing at the blood on you as you get ready to set the Hammer of Dawn up again.
"You okay?" Baird asks, you giving a curt nod and making an odd gasp.
"I'm sorry I was being pushy, you fight really well." Baird compliments as he watches your back. You hum as you watch the Hammer of Dawn set up a signal for the satellites to strike the Seeder.
"It's fine...thank you-" You mutter as a large 'Kaboom' resounded, screeching following suit as the Seeder was roasted by the Hammer of Dawn's blast.
"Well, You're Welcome!" Baird laughs as he watches you finish the job, the carnage causing the emergence hole to close. You give him a smile as you hear your radio go off.
"Looks like you did it, Come meet us down here. We're done here." The sound of Marcus' voice orders as you look at Baird.
"Let's go meet them..." You chuckle, slowly opening up to the man as you walk by him.
"Well, allow me to escort a pretty lady like yourself~" Baird teases as you two walk to join the rest of the gang.
(Ahhhh, Thanks to whoever still reads this book. It's not discontinued, it's just that I tend to lose interest in a fandom, not write for it for a long time, then write for it again. Here is a long awaited one shot since like, last year-)
