"(Y/n) if you don't get your butt up in the next three seconds, I'm throwing you out the window!"
Ah, what a lovely thing to wake up to.
I groan and rub the sleep out of my eyes. I let them flutter open and I see my room flooded with light. Very bright light.
"Shut it, Paul! I'll get up when I want!" I yell back, sitting up slowly in my bed.
This used to be a daily occurrence in the Cameron household. Guess some things never change.
"Would you get your butt up faster if I told you Embry was here?" He asks in a quieter tone.
I shoot out of bed and run into the bathroom.
"I'll be out in a minute!" I shout as I run a brush through my hair.
I quickly brush my teeth and pull my hair into a loose side braid. I wash my face and run over to my empty closet frantically.
That's right, I haven't unpacked yet. Great.
I pull on a pair of jean shorts that are sitting on my dresser before peeking my head into the hallway. Seeing that the coast is clear, I sprint across, into Jared's room. I flip through his closet and find a baggy grey sweatshirt. I grab it and, after making sure the coast is clear again, I run back into my room. I slip my shirt over my head and slip the sweatshirt on in its place. I throw on a pair of socks before running out of my room.
I walk into the kitchen to find Embry sitting at my kitchen table, across from Jared. Paul is leaning against the counter with a cup of coffee in his hand. Embry smiles at me as I enter the room, his eyes glowing with adoration. I smile back sweetly and walk cheerfully towards the kitchen counter.
Paul kisses my forehead and reaches in the cupboard to grab me a mug, already knowing I'm heading for the coffee. As I pour the coffee into my cup I feel eyes burning into the back of my head. I turn around to see everyone staring at me.
"What?" I ask, my smile never wavering.
"Since when did you become a morning person?" Jared asks, his face a mix of confusion and disgust.
"Since having to wake up at 6 a.m. every morning for role call," I reply, sitting in the chair next to Embry.
I lean into his side as I sip on my coffee. Embry lays his arm over the back of my chair and rubs my shoulder with his thumb. Jared stares at the two of us intently before his eyes drift only to mine. He's obviously trying to figure something out.
"What?" I ask again, sitting my mug down onto the table. I loop my legs over Embry's, causing a light blush to spread across his face.
"It's just weird seeing you like this. With Embry I mean. Not that it's a bad thing. It's just, you've never wanted to be in a serious relationship before. You've always just been a, well..." Jared trails off, looking down to the table.
"A player," Paul finishes.
I glance at the two boys in front of me before looking up to Embry. He's giving me the same look Jared is so I'm assuming he also knows about my "rebelling".
"Trust me, it's weird for me too. To be honest if it weren't for this imprint, I probably would have already slept with Jake and Paul by now."
Paul chokes on the coffee he had just sipped on. Jared's face turns into wide eyed shock. I feel Embry tense and hear a growl sound from behind me. I let out a laugh and shake my head.
"I'm kidding. Besides, Jake and Paul are like my brothers. That would be a little weird."
Paul and Jared's muscles both release tension as they let out a sigh of relief. Embry, on the other hand, is still tensed against my side. I place my hand on the side of his face and pull his ear down to my mouth.
