"Jared come on. It's not a big deal," I groan, falling onto the sofa, my head landing in Paul's lap. Embry tenses slightly as he watches me before slowly relaxing back in his seat.

We just got home from our day at La Push and Jared hasn't stopped yelling at Embry and I the whole way home. He won't let the little kiss go. I mean, it's not like Embry and I made out. It was just a peck on the lips. Completely innocent. Why can't he just drop it and move on?

"Well excuse me if I don't want to see my little sister sucking face with a dog!" Jared retorts, running his hands through his hair.

"Paul, a little help here?" I ask, looking up at my second brother innocently.

"Jar, you're gonna have to get used to it at some point. Besides, I highly doubt Embry's actually going to try anything with us around. He's not that stupid," Paul shoots Embry a smirk, causing a low growl to escape his throat.

Jared stares at Paul before switching his gaze to me. He studies my face for a few moments, reading every expression that crosses it. After a few seconds of silence he turns to Embry with a stern look on his own face.

"Fine, I'll drop it. But if you even think about getting my sister in bed, I'll kill you," Jared threatens, never breaking eye contact.

Embry nods his head with a cocky smirk plastered on his face. He turns to me and flashes a crooked smile, waving his hand at me. I happily get off the couch and walk over to Embry, sitting down next to him in the chair. I lay my legs over his and lean into his side. He wraps one arm around my shoulder and places the other across my legs.

"Ugh. So weird," Jared groans before plopping down on the couch next to Paul. Paul, Embry, and I all laugh as Paul picks up the T.V. remote.

Paul switches on a random movie and walks out of the room to get snacks. After a few minutes Jared finally starts talking to Embry like normal. I listen to the thumping of Embry's heart and the occasional rumble that occurs when he speaks. Embry's hand slowly moves up to run itself through my hair soothingly. I feel my eyes slowly close as I nuzzle into the human heater next to me. One last thought crosses my mind as I drift off into sleep.

I think I'm falling for Embry Call.

My eyes flutter open to a room filled with sunlight. I'm engulfed in warmth as I lay in a bed. I look around to find that I am in fact in my own room, and it's obviously pretty late in the morning.

What is up with me sleeping in so long?

I stretch my body out and let out a small groan, but as I do I feel something hard behind me. I automatically freeze and try to pull away from the solid, warm object that is pressed against me, but I'm being held in place. Looking down to my waist, I find a toned tan arm wrapped around me.

I turn in the arm that's encasing me and come face to face with Embry.

How in the-

Embry slowly starts to stir as a growl escapes his lips. The arm he has around me tightens, to where it's almost too tight. He furrows his brows and turns on his back, pulling me slightly on top of him.

My cheeks become flushed as I stare down at the dark boy under me.

This is so embarrassing. If he woke up right now I would die of embarrassment. Though, he does look sort of beautiful while he's sleeping. His chest rising and falling calmly. The peaceful smile hinting at his lips. The way his eyes flutter every few seconds. He just looks so...

Perfect.

I raise my hand up to his face. Slowly, I trail my finger down his jawline, my eyes studying my own movements, before trailing my finger back up again. I place my hand on the side of his warm face. As my gaze turns from my hand to his eyes, the breath hitches in my throat.
