"But Emmy, what if Jake tries to kiss me again? I-I don't want him to. Please don't make me do this. Please?" I beg him, my eyes welling up with tears.

It's been three days since the night Sam told us about Jake's plan. Three days since Embry agreed to go with it. I haven't slept since, and that is no exaggeration.

To say I am delirious from sleep deprivation is an understatement. I have been giggling and crying uncontrollably all morning and it's only getting worse as the minutes pass. Jake is currently on his way to pick me up from my house. Embry is trying to get me properly dressed, which is turning into more of a hassle than intended.

"Baby, he won't do anything that you don't want him to," he sighs as he brushes through my hair, sleep deprived himself from staying up with me. "Besides, you'll only be with him for a few hours, then you can come home."

"Will you be home?" I ask giddily, the tears automatically disappearing from my eyes.

"Yes, (Y/n). I'll be here waiting for you to get back," he tells me sweetly, sitting my brush back down on my dresser and standing in front of me.

"Yay!" I shriek, jumping up and wrapping my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist.

Embry chuckles, sending vibrations through my body. My face flushes slightly as I feel them. He puts a hand under my thigh, holding me up. He lets his other hand hang to the side as he walks to my closet to grab me a hoodie.

"Emmy?" I ask, staring up at him.

"Yes (Y/n)?" Embry asks, not paying too much attention to me as he gathers things for me to take.

"Can we get married?"

Embry's face automatically reddens at my question, his eyes meeting mine. His lips part slightly as he stares at me, a little in shock.

The question may be sudden, and I may be delirious, but it is a real question. I've been thinking about it ever since the day Embry imprinted on me. I love this man and I want him to be a part of my life forever.

"Y-You want to get married?" Embry asks, never taking his eyes off of me.

I let out a yawn as I nod my head. Leaning forward, I place my face in the crook of Embry's neck, letting my eyes flutter shut.

"Well, yeah. I love you. I wanna be with you forever."

Before Embry can respond, a car horn sounds outside. The noise makes me jolt up, jumping a little. Embry lets out a small laugh, shaking his head at me. He picks up the bag he packed for me and carries me to the front door, where Jared is.

"Hi Jar!" I squeak as Embry opens the door. "Bye Jar!" I shout as he closes it.

"You treating her like a child now?"

I quickly turn my head to the source of the voice. Jake is leaning against his truck, grimacing at Embry and I as we approach him.

"It's not my fault she's sleep deprived and just wants to stay home," Embry snaps back, tossing my bag to Jake.

Jake catches it, rolling his eyes as he does so. He tosses my bag into his truck, sliding in himself as well. Embry carries me to the passenger side and places me in the seat gently.

"I'll see you when you get home (Y/n)," Embry says sweetly, unwrapping my limbs from around him. He places a kiss on my temple, leaning down to my ear as he does so. "And we can talk about planning our wedding when you get back," he whispers before quickly kissing my hair again and shutting the truck door.
