"Ciel!" She yelled with happiness and excitement. She couldn't believe that he was alive and well, and he was back in England. She spent years mourning his supposed death.
"Elizabeth." He said looking at the human woman who used to be his fiancée and cousin.
"You're alive!" She ran towards him hugging him tightly. Tears running down her face.
Ciel tensed wanting to push her away, but he knew he couldn't act rashly.
"I knew you were alive." Elizabeth sobbed into his shoulder. "Where have you been all these years?" She pulled away and admired the young Earl.
"Please let go off me, Elizabeth." Ciel said simply, gently pushing her away. "I do not think my wife appreciates another woman showing affection to her husband."
"W-Wife?" Elizabeth whispered in disbelief. She turned to the woman sitting across Ciel. Elizabeth felt her heart break as she studied how beautiful the woman was. "B-But we were in engaged!"
"Were." Ciel answered casually. "That was in the past. And in the present, I am married to Lady Anastasia."
"You must be Lady Elizabeth Midford." Anastasia said with a small smile. Her violet eyes shined, Ciel knew she was thinking of mischief, as she stood up to curtsy to the human female. "I am Lady Anastasia Beatrice Elaine Sinclair."
"Sinclair-Phantomhive." Ciel corrected her with a small smirk. She laughed lightly and turned to the young demon.
"Forgive me, my love." She said with a laugh. "I'm still not used to having changed my name."
"Understandable." He answered sipping his tea. Elizabeth looked at Anastasia with disbelief and envy.
"I cannot accept this!" Elizabeth fumed. "You were supposed to marry me!" She turned to Ciel who was looking at her calmly.
"Again, were." Ciel answered raising the brow of his visible eye. "I believe you are already married to someone else, Elizabeth. For two years now, if I'm correct. I do not see why my marriage is your problem."
"H-How long have you been married?" Elizabeth asked with a heavy heart.
"Almost a year now." Anastasia answered with a smile.
"My wife has persuaded me to come back and face the burdens of the Phantomhive name." Ciel said standing up and walking towards Anastasia. "She wished to see my home, and I cannot refuse my wife."
