The ball was the talk of the English nobility. Everyone important, save the monarchs, were present. The guests were curious to what the Earl Phantomhive looked now, since he disappeared when he was still a teenager.

"His Excellency, Earl Phantomhive and his wife, Lady Anastasia." Pierre announced as the couple stood on top of the grand stair case. Everyone marveled over the couple. They looked unearthly in their matching well-tailored clothes. Anastasia wore a dark blue ball gown while Ciel wore a suit of the same color. Their arms were interlocked and they went down the stairs gracefully.

Everyone gushed at the beautiful couple. Ciel offered his guests a polite smile, while Anastasia's was full of amusement and interest.

"You look dashing, milord." Anastasia told Ciel as they walked around the ballroom.

"You look delectable, Ana." He chuckled as he studied how the blue lace complimented her pale features.

"Look, it's Elizabeth and her husband." Anastasia gestured towards the door.

"She doesn't look happy." Ciel commented casually.

"Well of course she isn't. You were supposed to marry her when you were still mortal." Anastasia told him rolling her eyes. "And now, you're here flaunting a beautiful wife to England's nobility."

Ciel only raised an eyebrow at the demoness. "Well, I'm not mortal anymore."

"Yes. And I know you don't feel pity for her." Anastasia told him as he offered his hand to her.

"Emotions have become somewhat tedious ever since I was turned." Ciel said with a small smirk as Anastasia took her hand.

"Well, the only thing you feel now are the negative spectrum of emotions. Along with lust, selfishness, and possessiveness." Anastasia told him as he led her to the dance floor.

"Again, you are correct." Ciel smirked as the bowed at each other before they started their dance. They ignored the attention on them as they danced gracefully with each other. Ciel hated dancing, but Anastasia didn't have any of his complaints and had him train until he could put any gentleman into shame with his graceful dancing.

Anastasia laughed as he twirled her. "You've become a natural at this."

"My mentor was rather strict. Sadistic even. Refusing to feed me when I disobeyed her." Ciel told her smirking as he pulled her back to him.

"You should be thankful to her then." Anastasia told him cheekily. "You would've been hopeless without her."

"Indeed." He offered her a smile. "That is why she is the only woman I will lust for."

"Such flattery, milord." Anastasia laughed as he offered her a charming smile she taught him.

"Well, my mentor taught me well." He replied making her laugh softly again.
