'Love A Girl Right'

The finale is in one week and we need a new song to sing. So we've been sitting together every day after classes and we've been collecting ideas for the new song.

"We have nothing!" Jade complained.

"We don't even know what the song should be about." Jesy said.

"Well, yesterday I stayed up late and wrote down some lyrics that came to my mind." I said and showed them the paper.

"For the whole damn year I was wiping up her tears... don't you treat her wrong... don't make me have to hurt ya... don't you treat her wrong... you better love a girl right... she don't want another mistake... in my eyes all I'm seein' is a queen..." Leigh read to herself. "We could start something with this. Good job, Pez." Leigh said after reading the lyrics. Then she handed the paper to Jesy and Jade.

"I can see a song with this." Jesy then said.

"Okay, let's get to work. First, sing these parts to us, Pez." Jade said.

I started singing the parts that I wrote and explained how I imagined the song to go and what I thought the song would be about.

"Pez, that's really good. And it's really cool." Leigh complimented and I smiled.

"Thank you." I simply replied. Then the girls started making suggestions for lyrics and basically we started working together and worked on the beat, the lyrics and everything. And about three and a half hours later we finished the song. We called it 'Love a Girl Right'.

"I'm so proud of you girls." Jesy said. She hugged Leigh and Jade and then kissed me. "I love you." She added.

"I love you more." I replied. She smiled. Then we just looked at each other's eyes for a few minutes and forgot about the world. I completely forgot that Leigh and Jade were sitting next to us.

"Okay. We're still here. You know that, right?" Leigh questioned. Mine and Jesy's heads turned her way. We awkwardly nodded. Then we all laughed.

"What should we do now?" Jade asked. "I'm bored as fuck." Right as Jade said those words the door to our dorm opened. Gigi entered.

"The loser's here." Leigh said mischieviously.

"Excuse me?" Gigi got offended. As usual. She then approached Leigh and slapped her. Jade, Jesy and I stood up. Jesy jumped to help Leigh and see if she's okay and Jade and I stepped towards Gigi.

"You went too far this time." Jade said. She then pushed her towards the wall.

"Who do you think you are? You are a nobody. No one likes you. I'm the shit around here." Gigi tried defending herself.

"You might be the shit around here, but everyone hates you for that. Even your bestfriend doesn't like you." I fired back.

"And about us. Everyone is talking about us. We were the highlight of the show on friday. Just shut your mouth and get a brain." Leigh said as she stood up.

"Fuck you!" Gigi shouted out.

"I'd rather not do that." Leigh shot back instantly.

"You pieces of shit! Go find someone your own age to mess with!" She shouted out and kicked Jade in the stomach. She fell to the ground and I went to help her. I heard Jesy and Leigh still saying things to Gigi, but I focused on Jade.

"Are you okay?" I asked and she lightly nodded. I helped her to the couch and grabbed ice from the fridge and handed her that. Then Gigi stormed out.

"Thay bitch." Jesy said. I grabbed her hand.

"Don't stress about her. She's not worth it." I said and she nodded.
