The Finale

It was the day of the finale. Me and Pez woke up in the same bed and then I remembered that we went out last night and Perrie might've drank a drink or two too much, so she just slept with me.

"Pez, wake up." I quietly said and lightly shook her. She groaned and her eyes fluttered open. She smiled when she saw me.

"What time it is?" She asked, her voice sounding tired.

"8 A.M. We have a bit of time before we need to get ready and get practising." I said and she pinned me down on the bed.

"We could have some fun." Perrie said and smiled at me.

"Pez, you know I'd love to, but we don't have that much time. We can eat though." I said. At first she frowned at me. Then she smiled and hopped off the bed. She grabbed my head and pulled me out of the bed.

"Let's go eat then." She said, excited.

"Okay, okay." I said and we went to the kitchen to see Gigi eating. She rolled her eyes and Jesy pointed a middle finger her way.

"Fuck you." Gigi simply stated.

"I wouldn't go there with you. I have someone else." Jesy fired back as she grabbed my hand. I smiled, but still wanted to stop the fight. I'm sick of fighting.

"Look, we just want to eat breakfast without stress. And I'm sure you do too." I said and she looked at me with an apologetic look on her face. I know she feels awful for what she did. But she dug her own grave and unless she apologizes I'm not thinking about doing anything with her. "We'll eat, get dressed and we'll be out of here before you know it." I said and calmed the tensions down. Jesyvand I made sandwiches and ate. We finished and got dressed. Then we were on our way to Jade's and Leigh's dorm. He knocked and soon we heard Jade's voice saying that we could enter. In there were Jade, Leigh and Selena drinking coffee and chatting.

"Hey girls." Selena said with a smile. "I heard what happened with Gigi. We were just talking about that. She kinda attacked me, but Alex was there and got her away from me." Selena said and looked at me.

"Oh, well I haven't really talked to him  since, um, that night. At the, uh, club." I awkwardly said. Selena shot me a confusing look.

"What happened?" She asked and before I could answer Leigh spoke up.

"We don't wanna talk about it." Leigh simply said and Selena dropped the subject.

"Anyways, Gigi kinda really wanted to kill me. She lost everything. Her throne, her crown and her dignity." Selena said and the four of us nodded. Jade finished her cup of coffee and stood up.

"So, we should go practise." She suggested and we nodded. Then she turned to Selena. "We're friends now, but in the finals we're rivals." She said playfully and shot Selena a smirk. Selena wished us luck and we went into Leigh's bedroom and started singing. Soon it was 3 P.M. and we had to go. The finale starts at 5 P.M. and we still needed to put good make-up on and find some nice dresses. Leigh and Jade stayed behind and Jes and I went to our dorm to get ready. Jesy was pulling my hand so hard I thought she was gonna pull it off of me. We saw Gigi watching TV. I guess since she lost her reputation she doesn't want to be seen outside. She saw us and stood up.

"Uh, girls? Have a minute?" She asked. I wanted to listen to what she has to say, but Jesy spoke up.

"No time. We gotta get ready for the finals." She said, grabbed my wrsit and pulled me into her room. "Okay. Make-up. Let's go." We started doing make-up and found outfits for the finals and before we knew it, it was 4:30. Jes and I rushed out and saw Jade, Leigh and Selena waiting for us at the end of the hallway. But one weird detail that i noticed as we were rushing out of the dorm was Gigi. She changed her clothes and put make-up on. Is she going to the finals?

"Let's go. It's finals time." Leigh said and we nodded. The five of us went there and I held Jesy's hand through the whole way. I noticed that she started to squeeze tighter. She was really nervous. When we got backstage I pulled her aside and kissed her.

"We're gonna win. No reason to be nervous." I said and she nodded lightly.

"I'm just scared I'll mess something up." She said and I cupped her cheek.

"Hey, it's okay. You won't. Just grab my hand if you ever feel too nervous on stage." I said and smiled at her. People started and we were waiting for our turn. When Selena's name was called we wished her luck and she went on stage. And soon the ninth person was finishing up. Then someone tapped my shoulder. I was expecting it to be Selena, but it was Gigi.

"Hey, can we talk?" She asked and then our name was called.

"Uh, I'm sorry. I have to go." I said and went on stage. And then the music started. We sang. And we sang beautifully. I noticed that Jesy was looking for my hand on her part and I grabbed her hand in mine. All of our voices sounded amazing and we were so happy that we got this chance. Then the song finished and I was kinda sad. I didn't want the song to end. I wanted to stay in that moment with my girlfriend and my best friends forever. Then we got off stage and it was time to party. At that point I had forgotten about Gigi completely. And about half hour later it was time to announce the winner. All of the finalists got on stage.

"The winner is..." The judges started. "Little Mix!" They said in unison and we started crying as everyone cheered for us. Then I got the microphone and everything calmed down.

"Wow. Uh, well, first I need to say that each of the finalists was great and we really enjoyed your performances. And also thank you for supporting us. We're really greatful. And also I need to give the biggest thank you to my three best friends. They're my sunshines and we would've never even auditioned if we didn't have each other. And thank you to Jesy for providing us with the amazing songs. And thank you to Jade and Leigh for being so involved in the process of writing and thank you for listening to my crazy song ideas." I finished and the girls smiled at me. Then Jesy took the microphone away from me.

"And also..." Jesy started as she looked at Leigh and Jade.

"Thanks to Perrie for getting us to do this." The three of them said in unison. Then we hugged. We got off stage and were over the moon. But then Gigi showed up.

"Hey." She said with an awkward chuckle. "Congratulations." She added.

"Yeah, yeah. What do you need?" Jesy got straight to the point.

"Well, I wanted to talk to you several times today, but I didn't get the chance to." She said and inhaled deeply. "I want to apologise. For hitting you, insulting you and I have to apologise to Perrie for trying to sabotage her relationship. I'm so very sorry. I am not better than you or anyone else and I learned hat the hard way. I lost everything. I'm a nobody. But maybe it's for the better." Gigi apologised and I know Jesy wanted to say something, but I stopped her.

"Look, you know we can't forgive you for everything. Heck, we don't know if we'll ever forgive you. But we can say that we are grateful that you apologised. Maybe in the future things will get better." I said and gave her a half smile. We then walked out and partied through the whole night. It was the best night of our life. People will always remember us as Little Mix.
