One month ago I met The Vamps. Today I star in a music video of theirs.
It's amazing how the last month went by so fast. We've been practising every day, planning the dance we will do for the video. And now the day was here.
I hadn't hung out with Connor at all during the time which sucked but we had text each other a lot. I was going to see him today which gives me butterflies. Seeing the whole band gives me butterflies. The van that had been sent to pick us up stops outside the building where the video was going to be filmed. Katelyn, Kelly, Alice, Velvet and I all get out of the van and walk inside. "I'm so excited!" Velvet squeals. Wish I could say the same, my nerves are eating me up.
"This is going to be-"
"Dean!" Velvet cuts Alice off and runs over to her boyfriend.
"She is so hyperactive, anyone would think she takes some intense drug stimulant." Kelly says.
"Ah girls. Just in time!" Joe comes over to us. "You'll be going to wardrobe first and then hair and makeup." he leads us over to a room where a group of ladies were waiting to fit us into outfits.
Once again I was wearing clingy clothes: purple crop top and black leggings, very basic. I frown at my reflection. Clingy clothes are just not for me. It's not that I feel fat or anything like that (with all that dancing I do people ask if I even eat!) I just feel... slightly revealed? I sigh and walk over to hair and makeup. One of the makeup artists drags me over to where she was working. I let her work on my face and answer when she asks me questions.
"Hey Violet." Connor says happily as he sits down on the chair next to me, another makeup artist applying powder to his face.
"Hi." I smile for the first time today, not feeling as nervous.
"Today is going to be so fun!"
"And why would that be?" I ask sarcastically, already knowing the answer is.
"Cause we're gonna film the Move My Way music video! And I get to watch you dance!" Connor says, grinning ear to ear. Well I wasn't expecting the last part. "What sort of dance are you going to be doing?"
"Ballet." I point at my feet which were wearing ballet shoes. "And I believe Katelyn has to teach James how to do a simple waltz or something like that."
"Well this is going to be a very entertaining day."
"All done." the makeup artist (whose name I had already forgotten) says. I look at my reflection in the mirror and my eyes widen in shock. I barely recognized myself. My skin was perfect, my eyelashes were like what you see on a supermodel and my lips were the prettiest shade of pink.
"You're amazing." I say. Never in my life have I ever felt this pretty.
"Thanks hun. Now for your hair." she starts to brush my hair.
"You look beautiful." Connor says to me and I blush. I'm not used to compliments.
"Thanks."
The rest of the time we sat in silence as my hair was being done, Connor says a quick goodbye when he is called before running to set.
The day went by really fast and mainly involved dancing for me. I got to watch The Vamps sing and I could feel my insides buzzing around with excitement. They were amazing, they always are.
When it was 10pm the video had finished being filmed and it was time for us to leave. I walk out to the van with everyone else. "Hey Violet!" I turn around and see Connor running over to me. "I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime? Since we don't have much happening at the moment I'll be in town."
"Sure."

A/N: Okay Exams are starting on Monday (10th of November) and my last exam that I need to pass is on the 21st of November so I won't be updating till then because I'll be studying and all that.
