Chapter 14: Sleep Tight Auradon

Hayden's POV

Morris and me slowly make our way to the Enchanted Lake where they are celebrating little Jane's birthday. Morris and I look around to see that most of the students at Auradon Perp are already here. "What is up with Heidi's new look?" I hear a female voice whisper to someone but they will all soon learn that I am not goody good Heidi. "For all of you that seem confused and are wondering, I am Hayden and not Heidi, I am the one that you should fear." I say starting to walk around enjoying the look of fear in everyone's eyes as the look at Morris and me. "Beautiful party by the way, I guess that someone just forgot to invite us." I say giving a fake pouty look as I keep walking around leering at people,

"I know what you are thinking, well, don't be expecting any big heroes rescue,they aren't here to save you this time." Morris walks over to the dessert table taking the cupcake out of Ennis's hand before pushing him to the ground as everyone else looks at each other with a worried expression on their face. "Does that make you sad?" I ask Jamie Cricket who is standing by a tree, and Morris slaps a plate of food out of Pin's hand and shoves him out of his way. "Does it just ruin everything?" I ask turning my attention to Parker and Pandora while Morris takes a drink from Oscar and finishes whatever is in the cup before tossing the cup over his shoulder. 

"Mindless little drones." I yell getting to the face of Ally and Carly and I call tell by the look in Ally's eyes that she remembers me very well, Morris on the other hand walks over to the table filled with presents and starts shaking them and opening them. "You are all just fine with what King Beast did to us and to those who were imprisoned on that rock and forgotten about." I say snapping at Aaron and Aubrey when Morris flips over a table filled with presents. "Chris was labeled a villain but in reality, his curse was just trying to show everyone what the isle it really like, but none of you learned anything." Morris stands off to the side with his arms crossed over his chest. "And since Auradon won't learn from their history, we are going to repeat it." Morris says clenching his fists tightly when out of the blue I see Chad Charming running up to Morris and I,

"First off, great new look. You look amazing in leather." I roll my eyes and smile as Morris gets closer to me until he is standing right behind, "Take another step and I will drop you where you stand." Chad just half smiles as a look of terror fills his eyes, but I think that has more to do with Morris than myself. "But hey,before you do whatever you're gonna do, I was wondering if maybe you wanted a loyal boyfriend by your side?" Before I can answer him, Morris leans forward letting out one of his dark and dangerous growls, "That spot has already been filled, but you if you want to fight me for it, I will be happy to end your life very quickly." Morris acts like he is going to attack Chad which makes Chad jumps back scared for his life and with Morris you would be fool not to be.

"Partner in crime?" I simply shake my head already knowing that Morris is the best partner in crime someone could ask for. "Sidekick?" I point to Morris who lets out yet another dark growl as he cracks his knuckles and rolls his neck. "Or maybe just a lackey to do your bidding, um, spy on people. Or do things that you or the scary guy behind you don't really want to do?" Chad falls to his knees in front of me crossing his fingers. "Please?" Chad begs me which I know fully well that Chad is only looking for himself and could care less about what happens to everyone else, I look up at Morris wondering what he thinks is best and Morris answers me by raising one of his eyebrows. "Sorry Chad, but I can't take a risk of something going wrong, and let's face it with you that is almost a 100 percent grantee." Morris slithers around me and grabs Chad by the back of his jacket and tosses him into the brush nearby.

"Now since that has been take care of, back to the task at hand." I turn around and look at Morris, "Plug your ears Morris, because since Auradon likes to forget so much. They'll love this." I say hissing at everyone around as I start slowly and eerily sings Happy Birthday to Jane.

 Hayden: Happy Birthday to you. {I blast everyone and everything around me in white smoke as everyone starts to fall asleep due to my own version of a sleeping spell by using my ability of smoke manipulation.} Happy Birthday to you. {I walk up to Opal and Bashful JR blasting them with the white smoke as they fall to the ground asleep.} Happy Birthday to Jane. {I walk up to the cliff overlooking the lake as I smile at Jane as my smoke covers everything making everyone around her starts falling asleep.} Happy Birthday to you. {I wave Jane as she looks around in horror as everyone starts going to sleep and she takes cover by hiding behind one of the pillars.}

Once I finish with the song Morris unplugs his ears and the two of us look around to see the damage they have done and that Hayden's curse seems to be spreading. "Perfectly wicked S more." Morris says calling me by the nickname he calls me and kissing my head as he and I watch as the white smoke moves into the forest and starts heading right for Auradon Prep. "Sweet dreams." I say blowing a kiss to Auradon before laughing evilly as I engulf Morris and me in red smoke and two of us vanish.
